it’s great area locals shops, pubs etc, right next to the stations and bus stops also, it’s very quiet and peaceful

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Thus far we are yet to have many problems however even when he needed help with connecting to wifi n smaller issues etc the team have been great

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we knew about hove gardens sooner, Dan was a great help and showed us our apartment!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Hove Gardens could not be in a better location , it’s a 2 minute walk to the train station that has regular trains to Brighton and London and also Worthing , the nearest bus stop is 1 minute walk with Bus routes all the way to the Brighton marina and Sussex hospital , and Also Portslade and Shoreham , it’s in a very good location to be able to travel around the Sussex area without the need for a car , there is parking available on the street for a small charge per hour from 9am to 8pm the free until 9am the next day and on the nearby streets it free to park on a Saturday and a Sunday , there is minimum traffic noise on the surrounding roads because the traffic speed is at a minimum, there’s been a little more traffic recently due to road works and some traffic has been diverted along Ellen road more on Monday to Friday on the rush hour to and from work time but weekend traffic noise is at a minimum , the bin store area used to very messy but has become a more organised and structured area in recent months with less and less rubbish being left on the ground by residents, just to add as the weather is becoming warmer the smell From the bin area does appear to be spreading towards the lift area , maybe an air freshener could help in this part of the building , the surrounding roads are mainly full of commercial buildings which gives a busy sort of buzz as you come and go from the building , except for the council estate on one side of the building , it’s been noticed that some residents in this building do sometimes cause a disturbance but it’s not every day and the disturbance is not directed at Hove Gardens or the residents , I think it’s quite normal for the Brighton /Hove area as seaside towns to have a few noisy residents , but ultimately Hove Gardens is a very peaceful place to Live

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

On moving in 9 months ago , there were a few issues with apartment cleanliness which were logged with the original maintenance staff , varnish left on a carpet by a previous tenant was one of the items that was supposed to have been corrected cleaned removed but this has never been actioned , therefore now we have new maintenance staff I’ll raise this again so hopefully it can now be corrected

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Window cleaning , Although I’m able to clean my own windows and try to clean as often as possible some tenants are not as vigilant and some of the windows in the building are looking very dirty , I guess I didn’t realise the windows would not be cleaned on a regular basis

    Manager's response

Hi Tracey, Thank you for your valuable feedback. and delighted that you are enjoying living at Hove Gardens. It's great to hear that you are embracing the community, communal co-working areas and that the location is perfect for you. "Thank you" for choosing Hove Gardens as your "home". Kind regards, Serena

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great station access, near coffee shops and grocery stores. Street is fairly quiet, no antisocial behaviour

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Generally responded but can often take a couple of weeks

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Hove Train station nearby can be quite loud, even at night.

    Manager's response

Hi JW, Thank you for your valuable review and feedback. It's great to read that you are enjoying the facilities and that you find the location to be in a safe area where you feel secure. Thank you for choosing Hove Gardens as your home.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very good - it’s a shame the lounge area isn’t split by more soundproofing other than curtains but a minor point. The spotlights also make it a bit difficult to see the tv for films but these are minor points. A couple of mirrors on the public toilets would be handy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very good - they keep us informed of developments via newsletter

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A lovely sense of community with the events they schedule

    Manager's response

Hi Rachel S. Thank you for your lovely feedback, this is valuable to the team and I. It's great to hear that you are enjoying living at Hove Gardens and embracing the Community and events. "Thank you" for choosing Hove Gardens as your "Home". Kind regards, Serena

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located close to train station and Hove shops. Generally quiet and modern. Poor back house management lets down residents and front house team

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Front office yes but zero follow through where it mattered

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the offers of free passes etc were largely nonsense

    Manager's response

Hello Mike B, Thank you for your valuable review, this is important as a management team to receive. I am disappointed to learn about your experience, and that there was lapsed time involved with processing the relevant incentive. I sincerely apologize for any oversight and inconvenience on this matter. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the facilities that Hove Gardens offers, to the community, and that you found the area to be quite and a modern build. Thank you once again for taking the time to highlight your feedback, of which will be shared and reviewed further by the Team. Kind regards, Serena
