With excellent access to local footpaths, we’re situated perfectly for mapping out our own personal walking routes in a safe area. A five-minute walk to The Bird in Hand when I’m not up to cooking comes in very useful! Famous for their fabulous menu and cosy ambience. Meadow Lea farm shop, a short distance away is not to be missed for a lunchtime sandwich. 'Niche' hairdressing salon is by the post office, while just next door is the Village Hall where we enjoy the annual Christmas lights switch on, a truly warming, intimate and festive experience for all the locals. Our garden will be dearly missed - particularly receiving the sunrise first thing in the morning, it’s a wonderful quiet haven where all year round the towering trees give personality to the view.
