Description

The Bell house is a striking family home being one of the village’s former public houses, with an enviable position fronting the village green. The exterior of the property combines both painted brickwork and exposed stonework creating a far larger home than first expected.

Upon entering the property via the main front door to the left you are greeted by one of four reception spaces each offering a very different feel to the next. The sitting room, living room and dining area span much of the front as well as the 4th bedroom and ensuite. A generous kitchen sits centrally within the property boasting a large pantry, to the rear of the home is this breath-taking Oak framed family room added in 1999 by the present family, which will not disappoint with the vaulted ceilings and a panoramic view overlooking the rear garden, all set around the wood burning stove. An inner hall with access to the cellar and large cloakroom complete the ground floor. From the first landing there are three further double bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom to the master and an additional bathroom serving bedrooms two and three.

Externally there is on street parking to the front with off road parking accessible via the shared driveway to the right of the property. The rear garden offers a good degree of privacy with a patio area directly off the family room and an abundance of mature trees and shrubs surround the main lawn area, steps rise at the end to an elevated patio area overlooking beautiful open fields, a summer retreat, I’m sure! Two outhouses provide ample garden storage as well.
