Nelson is a historic market and mill town in the Borough of Pendle, Lancashire, about 3 miles north of Burnley. It grew rapidly during the 19th century as a centre of cotton weaving, helped by the Leeds–Liverpool Canal and the railway. Today, Nelson is known for its diverse community, traditional market, parks such as Marsden Park and Victoria Park, and nearby attractions like the Pendle Heritage Centre and the Pendle countryside. The town has around 33,000 residents and offers good transport links via the M65, regular buses, and a central railway station.
From the centre of Nelson proceed east along Broadway, take the right exit off the roundabout, passing McDonalds and moving forward to the next roundabout. Take the first exit here onto Netherfield Road, follow this and take the fourth right turn onto Southfield Street. Continue up Southfield Street towards Walverden Water Park where the property is located on the left marked by our Dacre, Son & Hartley 'For Sale' sign.
