Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is very well connected and convenient for day-to-day living. There’s a good mix of supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, and independent shops within walking distance, offering both quality and variety. Green spaces nearby are well maintained and ideal for relaxing or short walks. Transport links are excellent, with reliable bus and rail connections making commuting straightforward. The street itself feels safe and generally quiet, with minimal traffic noise. Bin collections are regular and well managed. Parking can be limited at peak times, but overall the area feels orderly and pleasant, with very little anti-social behaviour.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

very responsive and professional whenever issues have been raised. Queries are acknowledged quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how active and social the community would be. Beyond what you see on a typical viewing, the building hosts regular events and has genuinely friendly residents, which makes settling in much easier. My tip to new neighbours would be to get involved early — it really helps you feel at home faster.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is very central, which is exactly what I needed right now. My university is literally next door, and everything I need (shops, food, transport) is close by. My room faces a quieter street, so it feels calm, bright, and sunny.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been easy to reach and quick to help. They’ve done their best to support me with anything I’ve needed so far.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Biggest two things for me were natural light and location. Having a sunny room really changes the space day to day, and the central spot is a huge win since everything’s right nearby.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is convenient to live in as it’s located in the city centre, with easy access to a good range of shops, restaurants, and cafés. While it is a little far from the school, the overall environment is pleasant and well maintained. Transport links are good and make getting around the city straightforward. Living on the street is generally comfortable, although, as with most central locations, it can be busy at times.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It's really quick responds. Our apartment was lack of some furniture before our move-in. Andy and Connor are really efficient and helpful to organise our new sofa and bed. Amazing team!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more clearly about the available viewing times for booking appointments, as this would have made planning a bit easier before moving in.

    Jan 2026

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location-wise, it’s very central and close to my office, which makes daily life convenient. Being near the city centre means easy access to a wide range of restaurants, cafés, and shops, as well as the general energy of Glasgow. Transport links are excellent, with good bus and train connections nearby. The main downside of living so centrally is the occasional noise from traffic and the busy atmosphere, but overall the convenience outweighs this.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Just moved in, so there are no issue at this stage

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly, there isn’t anything I wish I had known beforehand. Everything that was advertised and discussed during the viewing process has been accurate and as expected. The information provided was clear, and there were no surprises after moving in, which I really appreciated.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area offers an excellent blend of convenience and quality of life. There is a wide selection of shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, catering to a variety of tastes and offering a consistently high standard. Nearby west end and open spaces are well maintained and provide a welcome retreat for walks and relaxation. Transport links are very strong, with frequent bus services and convenient train connections, making travel straightforward, although services can be busier during peak hours.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It’s really responsive and helpful. The RA Amy and Andy are so supportive and lovely!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

For the building specifically, I wish I had known just how community-focused it is.
