Introduction & Exterior

Located on the sought-after Darwin Park (or ‘The Waitrose Development’ to those from Lichfield), this fabulous three-storey home will delight all viewers with its magnificent presentation. The house is set back from Deykin Road behind a fenced front lawn with a gated pathway leading to the front door.

To the right of the house is a shared drive for this house and neighbouring properties to access their parking. This particular house includes a single garage and a carport. Shown on the photos, the carport is to the left (where the car is parked) and the garage is to the right of the two shown. The garage includes a pitched roof for additional storage.

From the drive there is a secure gate to the side of the house that accesses a wonderful, private rear garden. The garden has been well maintained by the current owner and features a flagstone patio, raised decking and plush lawn. A raised flower bed supported by sleepers provides an attractive touch to left and there is an outdoor tap to assist with keeping them looking at their best. The garden is kept private by tall wooden fencing.

Ground Floor

Upon entering the home, guests will find an ample hallway for removing coats and shoes, and a handy cupboard to the left to store them. Preceding this cupboard is a guest WC that includes a corner wash basin. Opposite the guest WC is the entrance to the kitchen, and at the far end of the hallway is a door to enter the lounge. Just before the lounge, to the left is the carpeted staircase rising up to the first floor.

Buyers will love the stylish hi-gloss suite fitted in the kitchen, with Minerva worktops that have the wash basin sunk into it along with cut draining lines. Integrated appliances include an electric oven, four-ring electric hob with extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge-freezer. A space with plumbing is available for a washing machine to be positioned. Also secluded within the units is the gas boiler.

The lounge is the largest room in the house and has a lovely, polished wood effect floor and a set of French doors set into a wide bay at the rear of the room that allow plenty of natural light in. The French doors open straight to the flagstone patio. The lounge is easily large enough to hold dining as well as a sofa suite and entertainment unit, as depicted in the photos.

First Floor

Viewers arrive at the corridor style landing where a second staircase leads directly above to the second floor. Doors lead off to two double bedrooms positioned at either end of the house, with a family bathroom in between. The bathroom comprises of a long bathtub with shower and curtain fitted over, a pedestal wash basin and toilet.

Bedroom two, at the rear of the house is a very impressive double bedroom that has two windows looking out to the rear garden. Bedroom three is a narrower double bedroom that includes a storage cupboard and has another two windows that look out to the front. It’s worth noting that all windows throughout the home are double glazed.

Second Floor

Prospective owners will be delighted to discover that the second floor is entirely dedicated to the master bedroom. This great space is positioned holds over half of the space at the front of this level, with an opening at the rear to access to en suite and dressing room. Again, there are two windows to the front.

Both of the supporting rooms feature a skylight to provide natural brightness. The en suite includes a modern suite comprising of a walk-in cubicle with storm shower, pedestal wash basin, a toilet and metro tiling. The dressing room comprises of a row of wardrobes with seven doors in total. At present the current owner has this set out as a home

In all this provides journeys to Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Derby, Burton-on-Trent and all within an hour. Close by is the Bowling Green Island which has links to the A51 for Stafford.
