The Swan Hotel has a sizeable main building arranged over three storeys, with long two-storeyed wings forming two sides of the rear courtyard. The building boasts an array of period features throughout, such as exposed timbers, original windows, galleried corridors and inglenook fireplaces.

The ground floor entrance lobby opens into the guest lounge, front meeting room (c. 10), basement cellar and main bar. An original staircase provides access to the hotel rooms, The main bar features a superb inglenook fireplace and a part-brick bar servery, catering for c. 40 covers, with adjoining snug.

A storeroom is conveniently located, and the toilet block has male, female and accessible WCs. Beyond the bar is the restaurant dining room for c. 25 covers, and further brick fireplace. Doors open onto the delightful 'secret' garden. A fully fitted commercial trade kitchen and prep areas serve restaurant and the sizeable function room, capable of accommodating over 100 covers, with a dedicated bar and male and female WCs. This adaptable space is also suitable for exhibitions and retail events.
