It is on the River Tern, between Shrewsbury and Stoke-on-Trent, and was formerly known as "Drayton in Hales" (c. 1868) and earlier simply as "Drayton" (c. 1695). Market Drayton is on the Shropshire Union Canal and on Regional Cycle Route 75. The A53 road by-passes the town. The counties of Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Welsh Border are close by.
Market Drayton has a lot to offer including all the beautiful architecture, fantastic street market every Wednesday, Cinema, public houses, a variety of restaurants, swimming baths, nursery, primary, secondary and sixth form colleges.
DO YOU NEED TO COMMUTE?
Something to consider is the mainline railway stations of Stafford, Stoke-On-Trent and Crewe are all within a forty minutes’ drive and Manchester Airport and Birmingham airport are around one hour away. East Midlands Airport is slightly further and overall if you are having to commute, then this location is sure to prove popular.
As you approach the property from the two parking spaces, there is a slabbed area, a space for the wheelie bin and the uPVC front door opens into the reception hall, this has a central heating radiator, ceiling coving and the stairway leads up to the first floor accommodation. The lounge has two uPVC double glazed windows to the front elevation, ceiling coving, central heating radiator and a fire surround on a raised hearth. The open plan kitchen/diner houses a range of wall and base storage units, work surfaces, single drainer sink with mixer tap over, fitted glass and stainless steel oven, four ring stainless steel gas hob with cooker hood over, concealed wall mounted gas fired central heating boiler, part tiled walls, under stairs storage cupboard, built-in cupboard, central heating radiator, uPVC double glazed window to the rear elevation and a uPVC double glazed door opens to the rear garden and has a uPVC double glazed side panel.
The landing has access to the roof space, ceiling coving, a uPVC double glazed window to the rear elevation, doors to the two bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom one has two uPVC double glazed windows to the front elevation, laminate flooring, ceiling coving and a central heating radiator, bedroom two has a uPVC double glazed window to the rear elevation, built in double wardrobe, ceiling coving and a central heating radiator. The bathroom has a white suite comprising a panelled bath with shower over, pedestal wash hand basin, low level wc, part tiled walls, central heating radiator and an obscure uPVC double glazed window to the rear elevation.

Directly outside the property are two allocated parking spaces, to the side of the house, a gate opens to the side and a pathway leads to the rear garden. This has a crazy paved patio area, shaped lawn, water tap, hedging and fencing.
