THE AREA

Oatlands is located in a rural yet accessible part of north Devon countryside, just south of the pretty hamlet known as Cobbaton. The desirable village of Chittlehampton lies 1.5 miles to the south with its historic village square dominated by an impressive 15th century parish church. There are further local facilities at High Bickington and Umberleigh, which has a railway station on the Tarka Line with a regular sprinter train service to Barnstaple and Exeter.
