A short drive from the clear waters of Cala Salada, Finca Forn sits within 3,392m² of lush, fruit-tree-filled grounds with the sea and setting sun on the horizon. Fig trees, olives, pomegranates and vines line the garden; the gate closes behind you and the island does the rest.

The finca's bones are very much in evidence - thick whitewashed stone walls, sabina beam ceilings, terracotta underfoot and a traditional fireplace at the heart of the living room. Contemporary updates are layered in carefully: earthy tones, tactile natural materials and modern styling that complements rather than competes.

The kitchen and its glazed extension open up the ground floor: an easy, light-filled space for cooking and gathering around the low-lit breakfast bar. Miele appliances, marbled detailing and an integrated hob merge form and function. Dining moves naturally between here and outdoors, where daily revolves. Drift from the connecting terrace to the firepit chill-out, to the pool's edge when the sun drops. The swimming pool sits at the heart of the grounds; a quaint outdoor kitchen serves for seamless days spent at home. Terraces wrap around the house on all sides, offering spots to read, eat or watch the sun go down.

Sleeping quarters are arranged across the main house and a guesthouse. Three bedrooms in the main house include a ground-floor en suite and a first-floor principal suite with a balcony overlooking the grounds. The guesthouse adds two further bedrooms, a kitchenette and its own outdoor area with a stone oven.

Set along Ibiza's west coast, Finca Forn enjoys a blissful setting and sunset views. Cala Salada - where turquoise water laps at a strip of white sand surrounded by pines, is your nearest beach, with a chiringuito serving authentic paella and seafood. There are a number of restaurants within a short drive - local favourites include Hostal La Torre and Cala Gracioneta. Further afield, the hillside hiking area of Cap Nunó and Santa Gertrudis, Ibiza's cultural heart, are both within a 20-minute drive.
