Highland Homes by Middleton Ross are a traditional legal firm, established in 1899, and still operating from the same building at 7 High Street, Dingwall, Ross-shire, situated fifteen miles north of Inverness. We also have a branch office in Alness ten miles north and the largest town in Ross-shire in terms of population. Covering a wide area of the Highlands from East to West Coast, the practice deals with all aspects of residential and commercial property, and has a large share of the estate agency market. We have six solicitors available to attend to conveyancing matters and there are full time, highly experienced property department staff. Highland Homes retains a major share of the Ross-shire property market whilst the practice as a whole has been operating for over 100 years. We have many years of combined experience of handling property sales throughout the Highlands and beyond. We, and many other Solicitors in Scotland, have been selling properties for longer than the words 'estate agents' have been in use. It has always been an integral part of the business and there are always at least two full time staff dedicated to it. Our long experience, and knowledge of the local market is unrivalled and our only aim is to do the best for our clients untainted by any pressure to sell mortgages or insurance products to clients or prospective purchasers. Our aim is to inspect properties promptly and give suggested valuations and prepare draft particulars within a few days and once a property has gone on the market, arrange viewings, keep in touch with potential purchasers and bring matters to a successful conclusion by achieving an acceptable offer. A Home Report, which includes a Mortgage Valuation and an Energy Performance Certificate, is now mandatory before any domestic property can be advertised for sale in Scotland and we can arrange that report for you through a network of independent surveyors.
