    Lovely building and area, would 100% recommend. The staff are lovely and so helpful, particularly Meg, who has assisted me with moving in, sorting admin issues and overall being so welcoming!

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Immediately! Meg was so helpful with all admin areas and welcoming.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Genuinely nothing that I can think of that I would have liked to have known before.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Really happy with the area so far. Having everything right on Salford Quays is great, there are loads of nice spots to eat and grab a drink within walking distance. Public transport is super easy too with the tram links right nearby to get into central Manchester quickly. It stays pretty peaceful around here in terms of traffic noise, and bin collections are well organised.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    They have been completely on it. Any minor things logged through the app are picked up quickly by the onsite management and sorted out without any delay.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Honestly nothing bad at all. Just make sure to download the resident app straight away since it controls your heating tracking, visitor passes, and maintenance logging which makes life so much easier from day one.

    Away but close enough to all the wonders of Salford Quays - peaceful and quiet, traffic entering or leaving is not an issue, extra parking lots available for a reasonable fee but tight to manoeuvre if driving a larger car

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Responses generally within 24 hours by email, easy to locate and approach management office anytime during the day.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Careful with the parking building, it’s extremely easy to damage your car going up or down. Sadly it’s privately managed so out of the control of Clay.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Clay is in a surprisingly lovely quiet corner of the quays given how central it is. The Lowry is a short walk away, there's a Co-op nearby for everyday essentials, and the Anchorage tram stop is right on the doorstep. Road access is equally well positioned: sitting right on the edge of the Quays means we clear the area without hitting any meaningful traffic before joining the motorway, which makes a real difference as we commute daily. Easy access to the waterfront and scenic walks/ runs are a bonus.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    We haven't had any issues with the apartment itself, but the team have been present, visible and genuinely easy to deal with - a quick knock on their office door and minor things like keyfobs and parking have been sorted on the spot. Communication throughout has been excellent, which has made a real difference. Dealing with building management can be a notoriously painful experience, but it has been nothing but positive here. We moved into Clay at very short notice following a leak at our home, and the Ellen and Meg went out of their way to make our move happen quickly and smoothly. The team have clearly put a lot of work into making Clay a friendly, welcoming place to live with regular social events and news updates.

    The car park which is privately owned has EV charging. Worth knowing that resident spaces are on the upper floors of the multistorey and spaces can be tight.
