The house is situated in a picturesque natural setting, on the edge of a charming settlement within the Municipality of Platanias. The plot lies on an eastern slope and enjoys unobstructed views over the village, the lush green hills surrounding the area, the ridge of the White Mountains, and extending all the way to the sea. As the last property within the village's building zone, it benefits from guaranteed open sea views and direct proximity to olive groves and natural vegetation, ensuring a quiet and unspoiled environment.

The entire outdoor area is almost level, which, along with the layout of the building, allows the property to be easily adapted for full wheelchair accessibility if desired. At the front of the house, a ramp provides convenient private parking for up to two vehicles. The private swimming pool is positioned on the sea-facing side of the property and offers a good degree of privacy. Between the house and the pool there is a covered north-facing veranda, fitted with vertical awnings, making it comfortable to use even during cooler days. To the east of the house, there is an additional courtyard area with space for a garden, currently covered with gravel for easier maintenance. The surrounding area is rich in vegetation and ideal for cycling and walking in nature. Within less than a 10-minute drive, there are shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and a long beach with grey sand. The property is also conveniently located just 2 km from the highway junction of the Chania-Kissamos national road, providing access to the centre of Chania in approximately 25 minutes.
