The property is on the edge of a small neighborhood of the municipality Platanias, at a point from which it has an unobstructed views over the verdant plain of the Keritis River and up to the ridge of the White Mountains in the distance. It is a two-level villa, literally hidden among the endless orchards and olive groves that surround it. It is a luxurious villa, which has been built on a large plot and is surrounded by spacious courtyards and a large garden.

The plot is fenced and is ideal if you want to keep your pets there or for your children to play freely and safely. The property is on a southern hillside and there are two accesses. The main frontage is at the highest level and from there a private driveway has been created that enhances privacy and ends at the main entrance of the house. At the lower level and in front of the plot, the olive grove that existed before the construction of the building has been preserved. Many of the trees are centuries old while in total they are enough for the needs for olive oil of a large family. The second frontage is located at the back of the plot and allows the harvesting of the olives and the maintenance of the trees without disturbing the life in the house. In addition to the olive grove, a variety of trees have been added so that you can have your own organically grown fruits. Around the house there are beautiful paved courtyards and alternative spaces, which are suitable for relaxation under the shade or the warm summer sun. The village consists of scattered small neighborhoods and its center is about 1 km from the house. It has about 150 permanent residents as well as a traditional small tavern. In the nearby town of Alikianos, at a distance of about 3 km, you will find big supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy, schools of all levels, restaurants and almost everything else you need for your daily living. To the north, within 10 minutes' drive you will find the north coast of the prefecture and a large beach with grey sand. The city center of Chania is just 20 minutes' drive from the area and the international airport of the prefecture approximately 30 minutes.
