Charmingly renovated on three levels, the entrance opens onto a small living room and a large laundry room, as well as the majestic staircase leading to the first floor. Here you'll find the first of four bedrooms. To the right is the living room with its beautiful stone fireplace and a small gallery overlooking the staircase, offering views of the village and mountains. The well-equipped kitchen opens onto the dining room, which in turn provides access to the lovely gardens and two superb terraces.

A very attractive spiral staircase leads to the second floor and the three remaining bedrooms, one with direct access to a large terrace. All three offer views of the village or the mountains, and there is also a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet. A door leads outside to the beautifully landscaped and completely private terraces and gardens, which offer magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
The adjoining 50m² barn is used as a garage and for storing wood. There is also a parking space in front of the barn. Located 25 minutes south of the lively town of Oloron-Sainte-Marie, with its train station and on the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago), this village has a rich religious history. A pilgrimage destination since the medieval period, it still offers pilgrims a place to stop at the abbey, which lies on the Via Tolosa. The village has a good restaurant, butcher, and bakery; all other amenities are just 10 minutes away in the nearby village.

This beautiful, tranquil valley in the Pyrenees offers a wealth of sporting opportunities, including hiking trails, notably the GR10 and the Way of St. James, canyoning and whitewater rafting, a paragliding center, and several ski resorts in winter.

Surrounded by local markets and only 30 minutes from the Spanish border, the airports of Pau, Lourdes/Tarbes, and Biarritz are all less than 1 hour and 30 minutes from the property. The beaches of the Atlantic coast at Capbreton or Biarritz are 2 hours from the property.
