We moved here as our first home and instantly fell in love with the character of the house, especially the original fireplaces, natural light and green space. Over the years we've made it our own and it's quickly became a cosy, happy home. 

What's always surprised us is how peaceful it feels while still being really well connected. In summer, we've loved opening up the back doors and spending time in the garden, with the sunlight, birds visiting and roses in bloom. In winter, the log burner makes the evenings feel extra warm and relaxing.

The location has also been a huge part of why we've loved living here. Pinkneys Green and the surrounding woodland walks are nearby, while the town centre and stations are easy to reach. There's a brilliant café just up the road and a couple of lovely parks, which have been great for weekend walks and slower mornings.

We're sad to leave our first home, but excited for our next chapter. The neighbours have always been warm and friendly, and we've felt really lucky to live here. We hope whoever moves in loves it every bit as much as we have.

We're looking to relocate to Dorset, so we're motivated and ready to move.

The kitchen and bathroom were extended by previous owners. Subject to the usual permissions, there's potential to extend further to the rear, downstairs and upstairs. Planning permission was previously approved in 2013 (this has been added to the second floor plan page on this listing)

3 - When was the boiler installed / serviced?
It's a modern Ideal Vogue boiler, installed in 2016 and serviced every year, most recently in April 2026.

4 - When was the electrics last inspected?
The electrics were installed in 2016 and we're arranging our electrician to come and do an updated inspection.

5 - Which sides of the fence do you own?
The left-hand side.

6 - Is the loft boarded and does it have a ladder & light?
Yes, boarded and insulated with a drop-down ladder and wired lighting. Great for storage.
