Description
Situated in a plot of approx 200 ft, there is so much space to be enjoyed here, and to the front you look out onto woodland, a lovely rural feeling whilst being only minutes from village facilities and the A3. A well loved home for nearly 25 year providing the current owners with flexible accommodation.
Large driveway, with mature hedges to the boundaries offering a high degree of privacy, provides generous parking in addition to a detached garage.
An entrance porch opens into a spacious reception hall offering plenty of room to greet visitors and guests.
A front aspect kitchen is fitted with a good range of drawer and cupboard storage with space for both white goods and a breakfast table. Adding a cosy feature is a gas log burner; ideal for warm winter suppers! Off the kitchen is a useful utility room.
There are two formal reception rooms; a double aspect living room with an attractive central fireplace housing a gas fire, and a spacious dining room with built in cupboard storage. Complementing this is a triple aspect sun room over looking the south facing garden which can be accessed from both the living room and dining room.
Next we turn to the bedroom space and there are two ground floor bedrooms; bedroom 2 being a generous double with built in wardrobes, whilst bedroom 3 is a single. These are serviced by two modern ground floor bath/shower rooms. Finally, stairs lead up to a first floor master bedroom with built in wardrobes and eaves storage.
The rear garden is south facing, about 100 feet long, and predominantly laid to lawn with mature hedging, trees and shrubs providing a sunny established garden. Adjacent to the bungalow is a paved patio area, a lovely spot for summer dining and entertaining. An all important garden shed provides storage for tools and the such-like.
There is direct access across the road from the cottage onto the back of the Devil’s Punchbowl, great access for dog walks, family walks or bike rides.
