Feels like home
This feels like we have found our happy place! Our house overlooks the woods. It’s just beautiful, the houses and the outdoor spaces have been really well designed so you certainly don’t feel crammed in.
Leaf Living made it super simple from our first call with them to the day we moved in. We have had long term rentals for the last 20 years and this is the first one that truly feels like home. You aren’t made to feel like it’s not yours, you are welcomed, which is so different to anywhere else we’ve rented. Thanks to Sally and the whole team that helped make this so easy for us. Sally was always just a text away, we really appreciated that for sure. No question was too small, thank you.
We found a few defects, very small ones, these were easily logged on the app and responses were swift. I can’t wait for some of the community things to start up as I really liked the sound of that on the Leaf Living website.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We have the Co-Op at the top of the development which is great. It’s a 25 min walk to the Wyvern Pub or when the weather is drier the Spice Merchant. We are 15 mins walk to Redfields garden centre which has a lovely restaurant. 10 mins drive to Fleet station to get the train into London. Loads of parking at our house and on our street there are loads of visitor parking options. This is very rare for a new build so we really appreciate it. Super quiet, we think we’ve been lucky enough to get the very best spot for our house, overlooking the woods is just beautiful. No noise at all and no passing traffic either.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very professionally, the app makes it easy to log any issues
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The development is really lovely to live in
The development is really lovely to live in, on the whole has been well designed, it’s not too large so it gives a nice neighbourly feel to it. It will look brilliant when finished along with the addition al recreational spaces which will give it a lovely focal point for the community
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
A really lovely place to live, brilliant naturally surroundings, with great access to nearby facilities.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
On the whole have been pretty good, the one disappointment was the grass in the garden was out of use for the first month of tenancy
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Get the apps for everything setup so you can solve any problems you need to, without the portal it’s more difficult.

A Lovely Blend of Rural Charm and Modern Comfort
We recently moved into a Leaf Living property at Albany Park and have been very happy so far. The home is beautifully designed, modern, and well-equipped with smart home features like Yale and Hive systems that make daily living convenient and secure. The layout is practical and spacious, with attention to detail in both design and finishes. The development itself feels safe and family-friendly, surrounded by greenery and open spaces that give it a rural yet modern feel. Our letting agent, Sally Campbell, was exceptional - always prompt, kind, and professional throughout the process, making the move-in experience smooth and stress-free. Parking is generous, with three dedicated spaces, and overall, the property feels high-quality and well-managed. There’s still some construction happening as the development grows, but it hasn’t impacted our comfort or enjoyment of the area.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in Church Crookham offers a lovely balance between rural charm and modern convenience. The Albany Park area feels peaceful, safe, and well-kept, with beautiful greenery and a park within walking distance. There are several supermarkets, coffee shops, and local restaurants just a short drive away in Fleet, and there are also good schools nearby, which is a big plus for families. The area has good transport links, with quick access to main roads and Fleet train station for commuting. Parking is excellent, with dedicated spaces available, and bin collections are punctual. The neighbourhood is quiet with minimal traffic noise and no signs of anti-social behaviour so far. The only downside is that there’s still some ongoing construction work, which is expected with a new development but worth being aware of. Overall, it’s a calm, friendly, and family-friendly place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We reported a few issues shortly after moving in, including no hot water in the bathtub, a non-working radiator in the main bedroom, and low hot water pressure upstairs. The issues were logged on the 20th, and a vendor was assigned the same day, with a plumber visit scheduled for the 27th. While we appreciate the quick acknowledgment and scheduling, we feel these are issues that should have been identified and resolved before move-in if adequate testing had been done. It would also be ideal if such repairs could be addressed more promptly after reporting, especially in a new build.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We wish we had known that some of the property’s systems, like the hot water and heating, hadn’t been fully tested before move-in. It would have helped to schedule a quick handover walkthrough or checklist review to make sure everything was in working order. That said, the home itself is lovely and well-designed, and once these small issues are resolved, it will be close to perfect. For new tenants, I’d recommend testing all fixtures and heating systems early on and reporting anything promptly to ensure a smooth start.

First Impression
We needed to rent a property near Farnham for a year while working on a project and wanted somewhere that would also welcome our dog. We came across Leaf Living and were impressed by the new development, great location, and pet-friendly policy.
From our first contact, Sally Campbell was incredibly helpful, efficient, and professional. She promptly answered all our questions, kept us updated on property availability, and guided us through the process with empathy and understanding. Sally is a real asset to your team — friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with the right solutions.
Our experience with Leaf Living so far has been smooth and positive. Highly recommended!
