Sheepscombe is a delightful Cotswold village approximately 2 miles from Painswick nestling in an enchanting valley and sheltered by mature woodlands. Currently comprising several hamlets, the village boasts a fine public house in The Butchers Arms which has an excellent reputation for its food and ambiance whilst the primary school, church, village hall and cricket club all provide a hub for many groups, events and activities.

Nearby Painswick, the “Queen of the Cotswolds”, is a thriving community offering a playgroup and primary school with recreational opportunities including tennis, rugby and bowls clubs with many other groups meeting at the Painswick Centre. The village has a general store, tea shops, restaurants, 2 public houses, galleries and weekly country markets in the Town Hall in addition to a dentists, doctors and pharmacy.
