Description

An exciting opportunity to purchase a semi-detached four-bedroom property, a much-loved family home situated in a popular residential area above the vibrant coastal town of Tobermory on the ever-popular Isle of Mull

Situated within a pleasant residential area above the popular coastal town of Tobermory on the ever desirable Isle of Mull, Na Seilich offers an excellent opportunity to acquire a beautifully presented three bedroom family home. This attractive property enjoys far reaching views across the surrounding countryside and is ideally suited to modern family living while benefiting from a peaceful yet convenient setting close to local amenities.

The property is accessed from the front elevation via a stepped entrance, leading through the main door into a spacious and welcoming central hallway. From here, the accommodation flows naturally through to the principal living space, positioned to the rear of the property. This bright and inviting area incorporates lounge, dining and kitchen zones, creating a well designed open plan layout ideal for both everyday living and entertaining.

The kitchen is fitted with a range of grey wood effect units, complemented by wood effect roll top work surfaces, with integrated electric oven and hob, along with space for an American style fridge freezer.

French doors from the dining area open onto an external decked area, providing a pleasant space to sit out and enjoy the open countryside views. A polycarbonate roof covers the decking, enhancing its usability throughout the year and also providing a practical drying area.

Accommodation is provided by three well proportioned bedrooms, each individually styled. Two of the bedrooms benefit from en suite shower rooms, while one bedroom has been thoughtfully subdivided to create a smaller fourth room, suitable for use as a study, hobby room, children’s playroom or similar flexible purpose.

A ladder style staircase rises to the attic, which has been converted into a functional and fully insulated living space. This quirky area offers additional versatility and further storage area providing valuable overflow space.

Externally, the property is accessed via a shared access track leading to a parking area to the front, with space for two vehicles. The grounds to the front and rear are primarily gravelled, creating practical areas of hardstanding, while the enclosed garden to the side and rear of the property are laid mainly to wild grass and slopes gently away from the house. The modern oil fired boiler is discreetly positioned to the side of the property.

The property is situated above the vibrant harbour town of Tobermory. A well known tourist destination, Tobermory offers an excellent selection of shops and restaurants, along with primary and secondary schooling, a medical centre, churches, a golf course, and its celebrated distillery.

The Isle of Mull is the second-largest island in the Inner Hebrides and is easily accessed via the regular car ferry service from Oban to Craignure. Additional ferry links operate from Lochaline and Kilchoan on the Morvern and Ardnamurchan peninsulas. The island also benefits from a small airstrip at Glenforsa suitable for private aircraft, and there is a mainline train service running several times daily between Glasgow and Oban, with some services timed to connect directly with the ferries.

Mull is renowned for its striking and varied landscapes, abundant wildlife, and wide range of outdoor activities, which attract visitors throughout the year. The island hosts numerous music and arts festivals, as well as the annual Tour of Mull car rally. Boat trips are available to nearby puffin and seal colonies, to the sacred island of Iona, and to the island of Staffa—famous for its dramatic basalt columns and the iconic Fingal’s Cave.

Mains electricity, mains water, mains drainage, oil-fired heating.

At the roundabout, keep left, crossing the bridge over the river, then follow the road as it bends to the left.
After approximately 50 yards, turn right into Rockfield Road and proceed uphill, keeping to the right. Continue for around 250 yards, then take a right turn to remain on Rockfield Road.

Follow the road for a further 400 yards before turning right into an access track. Continue up this track, where the property can be found on the right-hand side.
