Introduction, Exterior & Garage

This sensationally presented detached bungalow on the fringes of Cannock Chase in Brereton will be of high interest to buyers seeking a long term move and a home that is ready to move into. The bungalow is set back from Cherry Tree Road behind a delightful front garden and a two-car tarmac driveway that precedes a long single garage with electric roll shut door. Attached to the side of the garage at the front is an electric vehicle charger. A path leads from the driveway to the composite front entrance door.

Included to the rear of the property is a fabulous, private garden that mainly comprises of a lawn surrounded by superb block paving and attractive trees, flowers and shrubs to the raised borders. A large wooden shed is positioned near to the rear of the garden. The block paving continues to along the side of the bungalow, all the way to the rear of the garage. There is also flagstone ramp to provide easy access to the garden from the garden room.

As mentioned above, the garage is a great length. It includes a utility area where there is plumbing and spaces for a tumble dryer and washing machine. The electric consumer unit is mounted to the wall in the garage and, as expecting, there is lighting provided.

Bungalow Interior

Viewers enter through the composite front door into a short but ample porch for removing coats and shoes, before a second door opens to the lounge. Immediately noticeable is the gorgeous engineered oak flooring which continues into the kitchen to the left. Also of high interest is the superbly efficient log burner fireplace fitted within the chimney breast at the rear of the room. The room is naturally bright, owing to a large window at the front and it’s worth noting that all of the bungalow’s windows and doors are double glazed. As depicted in the photos, dining is capable of being held in the lounge.

An opening to the left provides access to a stylish kitchen that is mainly to the left and rear-right walls, leaving space at the front right for storage or additional fridge. This is because there is a refrigerator amongst the integrated appliances within the hi-gloss grey suite. Also integrated is a dishwasher, electric oven and grill and a five-burner gas hob with overhead extractor. The ceramic one-and-a-half-bowl sink with drainer is fitted to the wood-effect laminated work surface, in front of a window looking out to the side passage. An exit door beside this provides easy access to the rear of the garage.

At the rear of the lounge is a door opening to the inner hallway where there is space for a bookshelf unit, as well as doors leading off to all three bedrooms and the family shower room. The bedrooms comprise of two generous doubles and a single (not pictured) that serves well as a home office.

Bedroom one includes a range of fitted wardrobes and drawers whilst still maintaining space for a king sized bed and dressing table. A large window at the rear of the room provides lots of light from the garden room beyond. Bedroom two features a double-glazed sliding door to access the garden room.

The family shower room includes another wonderful modern suite. The main feature is a low level, walk-in shower cubicle with storm duel shower unit. The remainder of the suite comprises of a tall chrome heated towel rail, a combi unit with wash basin, toilet and cabinet, and another narrow wall-mounted cabinet for further storage. This is all complemented by large wall tiles and marble effect wall cladding around the shower. There is also a door for the airing cupboard which houses the gas central heating combi boiler.

Last but not least is arguably the best part of the property... a remarkable large garden room that fitted to the entire rear of the building. This incredible room features an insulated roof with a stunning tinted glass window spanning the entire width of the ceiling - a very special feature. Windows to all sides provide a panoramic view of the garden with top quality wood-effect laminate flooring laid underfoot and French doors opening to the flagstone ramp to the left of the garden room.
