If you are looking for a home that you can literally move straight into, requiring no work at all, apart from unpacking, then you’ve got to check this fabulous, well priced, three bedroom family home out.

Mayfield Drive is a quiet road located right in the heart of Buckley but within easy reach of some great walks around it. So, if you have a dog, or you’re just generally feeling healthy, this is a great place to be.

As we pull up outside, the first thing that caught my attention was the gorgeous driveway, also the ample parking that it provides in front of the house, as well as down the side. A large bush and low-level brick wall set the border for the front of the home and offer a good degree of privacy.

A modern stylish front door, in a very fetching dark grey, opens into an open inner porch. This door, as well as the two side floor to ceiling frosted windows, allows ample light to flow into this space. It also provides a great place for any wet shoes and coats to be stored, before we go any further into the house.

A lovely turned staircase leads to the first floor, obviously :), and a stylish solid wooden door on our right opens into the lounge.

There’s a large window that offers a view over the front aspect, as well as a light wood effect floor all helps to let plenty of light in. The main focal point in here is the cast iron log burning stove that will keep this room, as well as the rest of the home, nice and toasty during the winter months – and summer, the way things are looking! This is a great room for watching a movie and relaxing in, before another lovely wooden door opens into the kitchen / dining room.

Usually when I read the term kitchen / dining room, some little estate agent has lied and it’s some pokey little hole…..well not this time, here you can easily seat four to six people comfortably. The beauty is, a set of patio doors open into the conservatory that sits just off here, where the present owner currently uses it as a separate living space…..but the uses are endless.

The modern fitted kitchen is made up of floor to ceiling stylish wooden fronted storage units to help cater for all of your requirements. Work-surfaces cover two walls and provide ample space for food prep, as well as a home for all of your 21st century gadgets that we’ve become so reliant on today. A large recess is there to house a large American Fridge / Freezer that are so ‘En-Vogue’ today.

From the conservatory, a set of patio doors lead out into the rear garden, where there’s a large patio area that stretched down the side and rear of the home. There is space here for a large set of outdoor furniture as well as a BBQ set, so if you enjoy hosting outdoor parties for friends, then this offers a great start.

The garden has a nice surprise, a low brick wall hidden behind some shrubs opens up to reveal another section of garden, where this time, the floor is made up of paving stones and majority of crushed slate. Sun, when it is out, is here fully and this garden provides many suntraps, so if sun worshipping is something you are a fan of, another box is ticked off your list! Wooden fences offer privacy as well as a definition to your boundary.

Back inside, we head up the turned staircase to the first floor. The landing is kept nice and light thanks to the large frosted window, and again we are greeted with a lovely selection of wooden doors.

The main bedroom is, as you’d expect, larger than the rest. You can comfortably fit a huge double bed in here as well as all of the free standing accompaniments that you’d expect, without feeling cramped. You have the benefit of a big window that keeps the room nice and light, but also provides a great view of the sky at night.

The second bedroom, while not as big, is only slightly smaller in dimensions, and is again able to take a double bed easily. There’s room for some wardrobes as well as other bits and bobs, with a window offering far reaching views over the garden and well beyond.

The final bedroom is the smallest, as you get in every three bedroom semi, but this one is far bigger than your average. This one can actually take a decent sized bed, as well as fitting in other pieces of free-standing items. Your window in here provides views over the front aspect.

And finally, the family bathroom. As with everything else in this home, it requires no modification and is fitted out to a luxurious standard. There’s a large shower cubicle; a fixed rainforest shower head to help keep you nice and sparkly, and an extra handheld device is there for those harder to reach places. There is a whole wall vanity sink unit with loads of storage, which also encompasses the toilet, keeping it neat and tiday. A chrome heated towel rail keeps the room warm and the towels nice and toasty. A frosted glass window lets the natural light in and keeps any prying eyes out…..not that kind of area, don’t worry.

All in all, if you are looking for a home to move straight into, no messing about, that offers excellent living and ample space for entertaining and eating in comfort and style, and not just off a lap tray because of the stylish fully fitted kitchen / dining room, there’s a cosy lounge that comes with a log burner for those amorous winter movie nights, a handy conservatory that’s more than just the name, a large private rear garden and loads of off road parking on a very swish driveway……then give Berry and George a call today, it’ll be the best thing you do all day…unless you’re a film star, racing driver etc, in which case, it’ll be the 2nd best thing you do!

About Berry and George, Mold

16-18 Chester Street, Mold, CH7 1EG

Berry and George is a family business, after my two children, Hallie (Berry) and Steve....only kidding, he's called George! I started this business to make a difference after I was totally let down by a local agent when my father was terminally ill. You can verify this, just check out our fabulous reviews, you'll see this is all backed up by our many 5 Star Google Reviews, the highest for any agent in Flintshire.

Having been through the house buying process many times in my life, I understand first hand from your side how stressful a time it can be, that's why we aim to not only provide an exceptional marketing package, but also an excellent tailored service to ensure we can make your move as comfortable as we can.

We work alongside some excellent partners who can help in the process, such as an independent mortgage broker service and independent local solicitors, so whatever help you need, we are here to help you.

We charge a set fee with no hidden extras and are quite unique in that we are open for you 7 days a week and have no contract to tie you in, Berry and George is like no other Estate Agent.
