Exceptional house located in a stunning setting with ten acres.

Description

Wild Acres occupies a truly stunning setting. The House was built in the 1960s and has been upgraded both internally and externally to an exceptional standard by our client.

The entrance hall opens into a superb open plan space, where there is a garden room, which flows through to the kitchen/dining room. The garden room, sits beneath a vaulted ceiling and is surrounded by large windows filling the space with natural light as well as glazed bi fold doors providing access to the terrace and gardens beyond. The kitchen/dining room is a great space and features wall and base mounted cabinetry, an induction hob, and integrated Neff appliances, with French doors leading directly out to the gardens.

Leading from this central space is a substantial double aspect sitting room, centred around an inset wood burning stove. Two sets of French doors open to the gardens, filling the room with natural light. Double doors then lead through to a superb bar, which in turn links back to the entrance hall, creating an circular flow through the ground floor.

Conveniently positioned nearby is a well-appointed utility room, fitted with cabinetry and a cloakroom off. Adjacent lies a generous boot room, which connects to a hallway with access to both the front of the house and the gardens. Beyond this hallway are two bedrooms, one currently arranged as a dressing room and the other benefitting from a triple aspect with French doors opening directly onto the garden. Each bedroom has air conditioning and is also served by their own separate bathroom.

Completing the accommodation are three further bedrooms, located at the opposite end of the house. One of these benefits from its own en suite bathroom, while the remaining two are served by a well appointed family bathroom. The two larger bedrooms also benefit from air conditioning.

The property is approached via a gravel drive leading to the front of the house, where there is ample parking for several cars. The surrounding gardens extend to one acre, which benefit from a borehole fed irrigation system.

Immediately to the rear of the house lies a large terrace, perfect for al fresco dining and entertaining. Beyond this there is a beautiful swimming pool and versatile outbuilding that could serve as a pool house, office, or studio.

An impressive array of outbuildings further enhances Wild Acres, including an outdoor kitchen, a temperature controlled wine room, a garage, an open fronted barn, and a feed room.

Further beyond the formal gardens, there are 9 acres of post and rail fenced paddocks with field shelters provide superb facilities for equestrian or a small holding.
