It’s nice living there
The ark has really good personal development events and they are all very fun and welcoming. However, some members of the reception could be friendlier and when I had a problem they did not seem very eager to help the issue, rather asked me to just send an email.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The good aspects about living in my area are safety and shops to buy food, however, it feels a bit far from the tube.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, within 24h. They were really helpful, I hope this continues being that way as for now, no improvements are needed.

Modern living with great facilities in Canary Wharf
The building is modern, stylish, and very well designed, with great facilities that make everyday living комфортним. The gym, pool, co-working spaces, and common areas are a big плюс and are always clean and well maintained. The community aspect is also nice, with regular events that help people connect.
Management is generally helpful and responsive, and the building feels secure with 24/7 reception. The rooms are компактні but thoughtfully designed, making good use of space.
Considering the location, facilities, and overall experience, it’s a very good place to live, especially for young professionals.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is very convenient and modern, with a great selection of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby, especially around Canary Wharf. There are also nice open spaces for walks, including riverside paths and parks. Transport links are excellent, with easy access to the DLR, Jubilee line, and buses, making it simple to get to central London. The area feels safe, clean, and well-maintained. The only downside could be that it’s quite busy during weekdays and a bit expensive, but overall it’s a great place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has generally been responsive and helpful when issues were raised. Most requests are handled through a clear system, and the team usually follows up within a reasonable time. Smaller issues tend to be resolved quickly, while more complex ones can take a bit longer, but communication is usually maintained. Overall, the experience has been positive.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how social and busy the building can be, especially during events or peak times. It’s great for meeting people, but if you prefer a very quiet environment, it might take some getting used to. Also, the rooms are quite compact, so smart storage solutions really help. On the positive side, the facilities and location make up for it, and it’s a great place for a more active and social lifestyle.

General review
The design of the building is great! The mix of social, work and private space is very well done. The cleanliness of the building is a slight let down, areas could do with a lick of paint/ repair. Reception are very helpful in pointing you in the right direction/ helping you.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The range of amenities surrounding the complex is very good. Three well known supermarkets close by. Very good access to the DLR train line.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
This is a let down. I was put into a unit which was not 1. Clean and 2. Signed off by the general manager. There are issues with my unit which have still not been fixed after three weeks.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I had not fully appreciated how central the complex was to train stations and general facilities

Ark is good
The building is lovely, so many facilities; the gym is great, it’s spacious and has all you need it also saves you from having to travel to a different gym. The pool area is also great with a phenomenal view of Canary Wharf. There is also a large community here at Ark, so meeting new people is easy. One thing I will say is sometimes it can get very noisy in the building as there are a lot of short stays who like to cause disruption which is inconvenient for those who live here long term. I also feel there isn’t enough space in our rooms for the price we pay, for example I cannot set up a desk for work as there is no space for one. Other than that everything else is great.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There’s a lot exciting things to do in Canary Wharf, for example there are activities you can do on the river, lots of fun restaurants in the area. also a Asda, Tesco and co op nearby which makes grocery shopping easier. The only negative I would say is the price of things around here, if you want to get your hair or nails done it’s very expensive. There is also no corner shops which can come as an inconvenience for some.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Whenever there is an issue with stuff in the room, maintenance come fix it the very next day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
To make sure you get a room which isn’t so close to the DLR, as even with your window closed all you can hear every 10 minutes is the train passing by.

ARK-tually Amazing
The place itself is a chef’s kiss. Modern rooms, clean spaces, and that sleek, minimal look that makes you feel productive even when you’re just lying on your bed scrolling. It genuinely feels safe, comfortable, and student-friendly. The community vibe is strong, you see familiar faces, people are chill, and it actually feels like home rather than just accommodation. Location-wise, it’s super convenient, which makes day-to-day life way less stressful.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in ARK is a dream. It’s modern, clean, and lowkey aesthetic enough to feel like you’ve got your life together (even when you don’t). The rooms are comfy, the vibe is very Gen-Z coded, and it actually feels like a proper student community instead of just a place to sleep. Everything you need is nearby, transport is easy, and the overall energy is calm but social, the perfect balance.
The parcel room in the basement. Absolute hell. Zero vibes. It feels like a dungeon designed to test patience and emotional stability. Packages go missing, and every visit feels like you’re on a mini survival mission. You go down happy… You come back up lost.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Depending on the day, sometimes good, sometimes shit.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
“So much free food through events, and free brunch every Sunday, would’ve planned my groceries better.”
