Description

3 Rose Cottages is one of a pair of semi-detached houses built in the 1920's toward the edge of the picturesque village of Meesden. A small village with a variety of mainly period properties all well set back from a minor country lane.

Outside the property there is parking for four/five vehicles and an area of lawn leading to a weatherboarded garage, and behind the garage is the propane gas tank. The gardens behind include raised flowerbed and terrace as well as two timber sheds and a generous area of lawn and behind the property is a meadow and woodland beyond.

Meesden is a scattered hamlet of principally period houses set amongst fine countryside and is broadly equidistant from the villages of Great and Little Hormead and Brent Pelham. There are mainline railway stations at Royston offering regular commuter services to London Kings Cross or Audley End offering services to London Liverpool Street, both around 15/20 minutes’ drive away. The A10 is approx. 4 miles away and provides road communications with London, the M25, Cambridge and the Midlands.
