The design of the building is beautiful with a roof top and terrace. Lots of greenery around the building and it is usually clean. Sometimes lift faults can be a bit of nightmare but apart from that the property management is good. Facilities around the building are looked after
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is great, lots of shops, restaurants, doctors surgeries, gyms and near good transport links. For people who drive there isn’t free parking but you can easily find parking to pay for.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They respond promptly and keep you updated with any results.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Increase in rent every year which I now think has stopped

Comfortable and social living
Really nice designe with plants everywhere . I love the roof garden and bbq area. The facilities are great, particularly the gym which is always kept very clean with lots of equipment. Management is really good too - if you have a maintenance request, it is sorted really fast.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Really close to the station, supermarkets and nice bars and parks. It’s very quick for me to get to work. I never hear any noise or antisocial behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had an issue with my heating so the landlord applied a 10% discount which is greatly appreciated.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It’s just really nice living here so I would say to definitely move in

Excellent but expensive
I like the design. It is modern and clean. The outdoor spaces are lovely and full of greenery which is nice. Building and property management can be lacking. The staff seem to play dumb and are absent from the front desk a lot which isn't helpful when you need help.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The quality and variety of shops and restaurants in the area is fantastic. I love being near the train station but I can hear trains from my studio.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes but it took a long time. They also didn't know timescales. Also, sometimes my requests on the app get cancelled with no reason?
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known about the laundry cost. Why is it so expensive.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review, John.
We’re really pleased to hear that you appreciate the modern design of the building, as well as the outdoor spaces and greenery—these are elements we’re very proud of and delighted that you’re enjoying. It’s also great to know that the local area, with its shops, restaurants and transport links, has been a highlight for you.
That said, we’re genuinely sorry to hear about your experience with our service and communication. Your comments regarding front desk availability, response times, and the handling of maintenance requests are taken very seriously. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and we will be reviewing this with the team to ensure greater visibility at the desk, clearer communication, and improved follow-up on all resident queries—particularly around timelines and app updates.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding laundry costs and train noise. While some aspects such as external noise can vary depending on studio location, we understand how important transparency is, and we will take this into account when communicating with prospective and current residents.
Thank you again for your honest feedback—it really helps us identify where we need to improve. If you would be open to discussing your experience further, we would very much welcome the opportunity to address your concerns directly.
Best wishes,
Francisco Mambero

Great selection of basic facilities ie. gym, living room, cinema room
Great selection of basic facilities ie. gym, living room, cinema room. Cleaners have maintained the building well throughout. It’s been very easy to log anything broken in the communal areas and this has been seen to immediately in my experience. Studios are well thought out to maximise space.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Amazing location to the train station, shops and restaurants. Great for commuters into the city whilst also having a slight neighbourhood feel with green spaces close nearby!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had an issue with my keycard and the lift that was seen to within a week or so. I understand that it was delayed due to the lift system being the issue and the front desk having to chase them to fix it.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It’s expensive if living alone, but everyone I have met has been amazing. Don’t even attempt laundry on a Sunday it’s very busy!

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Daisy.
We’re really pleased to hear that you’ve been enjoying the range of facilities available, including the gym, lounge, and cinema room. It’s also great to know that the cleanliness of the building and the upkeep by our housekeeping team have met your expectations.
We appreciate your positive comments regarding the design of the studios and how they maximise space, as well as the ease and speed of reporting and resolving maintenance issues in communal areas.
It’s fantastic to hear that you’re enjoying the location, with its convenience for commuting and access to local shops, restaurants, and green spaces. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding cost and busier periods in shared facilities such as the laundry room.
Thank you as well for your patience regarding the lift and keycard issue. While delays can occasionally occur when working with external contractors, we always aim to resolve matters as quickly as possible and keep residents informed throughout. That said, I can confirm that all four lifts are operational as they should be.
We’re delighted to hear that you would recommend us, and we truly value your feedback.
Kind regards,
Francisco

I have enjoyed my stay at Sunday Mills. It is great value for money with good location. Highly recommend it!
Sunday Mills is an excellent place for community living. Each studio apartment is well equipped with a TV, kettle, toaster, microwave and a refrigerator along with an en-suite kitchen. There’s a big community kitchen, a really well designed and welcoming living room, a state of the art gym and other common areas. Work space with individual work stations is an added advantage.
The staff at Sunday Mills is exceptionally warm and helpful. They also have a calendar of events which are a mix of cultural, social and hobby-based.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s a nice and quiet neighbourhood and the building is next to river Wandle. With some cute boutique shops and restaurants/cafe plus the train station at 5 mins walk, it’s a perfect location and well connected. There’s also ample parking space and no traffic noise at all. Close by you have a beautiful park and also a nature walk track along the river. Sainsbury’s, M&S, and Tesco are all 5 mins away and at about 1.5 miles there’s a shopping mall.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I did not have any problems but whenever I had even a minor issue, the management team was extremely responsive and helpful. A special shoutout to Eriona and Nicco, who are the warmest and most generous people managing the development.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I didn’t know about the community events in the building, so that came as a pleasant surprise. Loved being a part of the community and thoroughly enjoyed every gathering and event.
