Would recommend
I’m really happy with our house. It’s beautifully designed and feels comfortable and spacious. It’s light and airy. The garden does get a bit boggy when it rains and it’s hard to keep it nice, but I do think it’s been a very wet start to the year which hasn’t helped. The property and building management team are brilliant and I can’t fault them. Thank you for all you do.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I have lived on our estate for a year now and I have to say, I’ve got no complaints. The homes are beautiful and our neighbours are lovely.
We feel very well looked after by the property management, they check in and offer nice opportunities to meet together and discuss concerns etc.
The location is fab, it’s very convenient for us to be walking distance to town and right by the main roads to get into Telford, Shrewsbury or Whitchurch as needed.
I’m honestly the happiest I’ve been in my renting history living at assembly park and I would recommend it to anyone. Any issues we have had have been cosmetic and a quick report on the app and it’s dealt with immediately. Thank you for having me, I love it here!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, they’ve been out a few times for us, the dishwasher had an issue and they sent a gentleman out who took it on himself to tighten our tap which was so so kind, we had a blocked drain that I hadn’t even reported and they arrived instantly the same morning it happened based on someone else’s enquiry plus we had the door come off our unit and they sent a handyman to reattach it.
All have been incredibly professional and courteous
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The road has taken a long time to finish and I wish I had managed my expectations on that.

Decent but cheaper and nicer in other parts of Telford (housing)
Honest review here. It’s a decent area to live. Very quiet. Some days you will get the road repairs workers come down and there is noise until 6pm. Loads of food local shops, bin collection comes on time every Monday and not all neighbours here are as nice, welcoming or friendly. Some neighbours will have their dog poo on your front garden and won't pick it up. ASB is taken seriously here so no worries. Parking is okay. There has been issues of other neighbours parking in their next door neighbours driveways. The driveway is assigned to the house so nobody can park in your allocated driveway without your permission. It makes absolutely no sense for a couple with 2-3 cars to get a house with only 1 allocated driveway and then park on other people driveway. The driveway issue needs to be addressed by the property manager has to stop!!
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The development isn’t bad as you think. There is plenty of beautiful 3 bedrooms but I was surprised to know you can’t buy these properties considering new land developments have to give a percentage of their homes to social housing adleast 10%. The 2 bedroom homes don’t have a window in the bathroom 🚩so they only have 1 window at the top while the 3 beds have 1 bedroom window and then the bathroom window next to it. Thats the easiest way to know if a house is a 2/3 bedroom from the outside. The 2 bedrooms also have a boiler in 1 of the bedrooms. I do not recommend getting a property in the middle. Do not get a middle terrace house. Always get the end terrace or semi detached with your own driveway. End of terrace and semi detached are the same size on the inside but the middle terrace are quite smaller and you'll be paying the same rent for a smaller space. The rent is quite high too so a 3 bed is £1.3k x 24 months = £31,200 that’s a house deposit. I wish I could buy it to decorate it as I would like to paint in my children bedroom but the homes are designed for temporary family living, rent to build homes. Walls are plasterboard so you can’t mount a tv on the wall. Property manager does take a while to respond to queries and the storage unit is very small.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Take forever to respond and not responsive usually
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Don't get a middle terrace home. Request for the repairs you see at the viewing to be sorted out before you move in,

Unserious management
At first glance you !! find that the development is well designed but very poorly maintained/ managed. They state they take care of the exterior environment yet bushes are unkept and gardens are left in a disgusting and shocking condition. Both allsop and the management team are a waste of space. Absolute liars who aren't serious about anything. Letting out properties not in good condition and when you contact them nobody bothers to respond.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
For a development built over a year ago roads are shocking.
This should have been sorted ages yet they aren't serious about getting it done.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Unhelpful Unprofessional and rude when they answer the phone. Ignore emails and aren't serious about the concerns of tenants.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How unserious they are. They all lie. They wait for you to commit and make payments before giving you excuses as to why certain things aren't right and then ignore you when you follow up.

Happy with the property.
The building layout is perfect for us. The rooms are spacious and the facilities included are great. The driveway is also a decent size for us. The staff who have helped us, mainly Megan Larkin at Allsop has been a great help in getting things sorted.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There is a lot of variety around the area and is close to the places we would go to anyway. Parking for us is good, not sure for visitors yet.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
As we haven't had any, can't really say at this point in time.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Don't know yet as we haven't fully moved in yet, so cannot comment.

Good place to live
The development is well designed and generally well maintained. The buildings and communal areas feel modern, tidy and practical, with a layout that works well for residents. Facilities are good, and the development is managed to a decent standard. Property management is responsive overall, and the general upkeep of the site helps create a pleasant place to live. Overall, I am happy living here and think it is a well-run development.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
verall, this is a very good area to live in. There are useful local shops and amenities nearby, with a good choice of restaurants and places to eat. The area also has some pleasant open spaces, which adds to the quality of life. Transport links are generally convenient, and the neighbourhood feels safe and well kept. Parking can sometimes be a little tight, but overall there are no major issues with bin collections, traffic noise, or anti-social behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
responded well but sadly at times delayed response's or rude.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
the roads are going to take years to get sorted, ive damaged two tires.
