Save your money, protect your peace of mind, and rent somewhere with a more ethical management and a building that actually functions.
Unlivable Conditions & Sleep Deprivation
The physical build quality of the building is shockingly poor and there's always works being done. The insulation is practically non-existent, meaning you will feel the cold and hear absolutely everything. Worse, the fire alarm system is completely dysfunctional, sounding off at least twice a day, every single day. Good luck ever getting a full night of sleep or working from home in peace.
Broken Amenities
They heavily advertise their facilities to justify the rent, but the amenities are little more than a marketing trick. The pool and sauna are constantly out of order. You are paying a premium for services you fundamentally cannot use because management refuses to maintain them properly.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
As a former tenant and after chatting to other former tenants and neighbors it seems there is a pattern with attempting to siphon your entire deposit when you leave regardless of what state you leave the place in... using extortionate and incorrect charges upon moving out, including double-charging for "damage" and "redecoration" and they will try to charge you for pre-existing wear and tear.
Save your money, protect your peace of mind, and rent somewhere with a more ethical management and a building that actually functions.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Never providing a solution for the actual problem but instead deflecting the blame.

A Well-Managed and Comfortable Place to Live
The development is well designed and maintained, buildings and a pleasant overall appearance. The facilities are good and meet everyday needs, making it comfortable to live here. Communal areas are kept clean and tidy, and any issues are usually addressed in a reasonable time. Building and property management are professional, helpful and easy to contact, which gives peace of mind. Overall, it is a well-managed development and a good place to live.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is convenient with plenty of local shops, takeaways and supermarkets nearby. Public transport is good, easy access to the city centre. Parking can be difficult and the street can be noisy at busy times. Bin collections are mostly reliable, but traffic and occasional late-night noise can be an issue. Overall, it’s a practical place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have not experienced any issues so far, but building management appears professional, responsive and well organised, which gives confidence that any future concerns would be handled efficiently.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known earlier how important regular ventilation is in the property, as mould can develop if airflow is limited. This isn’t always noticeable during a viewing, so I would recommend new neighbours to ventilate rooms well and report any early signs promptly.

The building management and maintenence are flawless
The building management and maintenence are flawless. Always willing to help and can provide assistance where needed. We moved in to a freshly refurbished flat and we loved the design and facilties it had to offer. Would recommend anyone. Super fast Internet too which helps a lot.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The cultural Quarter in Leicester is a pleasant area to live with excellent amenities. Although in the heart of the city centre, the apartments are a quiet (ish) place and a welcome break for city dwellers.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always quick to help and provide assistance. Same day repair when needed too.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Communal areas are as good as the images! Wish there was more recycling bins.

Excellent Building and Management Team
I’ve really enjoyed living at Queen Street Apartments. The building is modern, well maintained, and feels secure at all times. My apartment is comfortable, quiet, and has everything I need for easy day-to-day living. The management team has been consistently helpful and quick to respond whenever I’ve had a question or a minor issue, which has made the whole experience stress-free. The location is also excellent, with shops, transport, and city-centre conveniences just a short walk away. Overall, it has been a great place to live and I’m very happy to call it home.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is one of the best things about living here. Everything you need is within walking distance - shops, cafés, supermarkets, and great transport links. It feels lively and convenient without being overwhelming.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been very responsive and professional whenever I’ve raised any issues. Any minor problems in the apartment or building have been addressed quickly and efficiently. They communicate clearly and follow up to ensure everything is resolved, which makes living here stress-free and reassuring.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how lively the area can be at peak times. While it’s very convenient and central, it can get a bit noisy on weekends or during events. Overall, it hasn’t been a major issue and the benefits of the location far outweigh this minor point.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve had a genuinely excellent experience living at Queen Street Quarter. From day one, the building has felt safe, modern, and well managed. The apartments are bright, clean, and well insulated, and the communal areas are always kept to a very high standard.
The management team deserve special recognition ( Keshvi and Izabella) , they are responsive, professional, and genuinely care about residents. Any issues I’ve ever raised have been handled quickly and efficiently, which makes a huge difference to day-to-day living.
The location is another massive plus. Everything is within walking distance — shopping, restaurants, transport links — yet the building itself remains peaceful and well controlled.
Overall, Queen Street Quarter offers a premium living experience at a fair price. It truly feels like home, and I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality city living.
