Description

Owners Comments - Our family moved into the house when it was first built in 1959. I grew up there, and went to Cranbourne school. The neighbour who lived next door at the time was the bricklayer who actually built the house. Everyone knew everyone then. And actually it’s still a bit like that. The neighbours give you space. But it’s a very friendly supportive community.

The house saw me grow up, be a teenager, go to university, get married, and have my own life. It saw my mum and dad from being a young couple in their twenties, through until their nineties. The house saw laughter, fun, parties, lots of music. It’s been a happy place, and a happy part of our lives. Obviously the schools are great, Windsor is great. Windsor Park is fantastic. London is half an hour away. The trains and busses are good. The hospital is close. There are several well stocked convenience stores within a few minutes walk. One great advantage is you can always have a nice walk, without getting into the car. Ascot Raceourse, Rhododendron walk, Sandy lane. Literally five or six minutes walk from the house, and you’re in fields.

I moved to California USA in 2010, and mum and dad decided to spend their final years with me in California. So it’s really time we passed this fantastic place onto another family. Be assured that this house is full of wonderful memories and the very, very best vibes. We wish you well.

Agents Comments - Nestled in a highly desirable residential area of Ascot, this charming three-bedroom house presents an exceptional opportunity for discerning buyers. Offered to the market with the significant advantage of no onward chain, this property is ready for its next chapter, providing a smooth and swift transaction process.

The accommodation comprises two versatile reception rooms, offering ample space for both comfortable family living and entertaining guests. A separate kitchen completes the downstairs.

Upstairs, you will find three well-proportioned bedrooms, complemented by a family bathroom. The property's interior offers scope for cosmetic updates, allowing you to infuse your personal style and enhance its value.

One of the standout features of this property is its impressive external offering. The generous plot includes convenient driveway parking, leading to a substantial double garage and an additional carport, providing extensive secure parking and storage solutions, a rare find in this location. The private rear garden offers a tranquil outdoor sanctuary, perfect for relaxation, al fresco dining, or for children to play safely.

Crucially, this property boasts ample potential to extend, subject to the necessary planning permissions (STPP). This offers an exciting prospect for those looking to significantly increase the living space, add further bedrooms, or create an open-plan contemporary layout, truly transforming it into a bespoke family home.

The location is truly superb. Situated in a sought-after Ascot neighbourhood, residents benefit from a peaceful environment whilst remaining incredibly well-connected. Ascot Train Station is conveniently located just one mile away, providing excellent links to London Waterloo and Reading, making it ideal for commuters. The area is renowned for its excellent schooling options, local amenities, boutique shops, and a variety of leisure facilities, including world-famous Ascot Racecourse and beautiful local parks and green spaces.

This property represents a fantastic opportunity to acquire a family home in a prime Ascot location, offering both immediate comfort and significant future potential. With its desirable features, convenient location, and the benefit of no onward chain, early viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate all that this wonderful home has to offer.
