Great place to live at
Excellent facilities, including a garbage chute! Very responsive team. Would have liked to have a microwave as well. But everything else is very good. The large windows are probably my favourite feature. However I have heard some tenants complaining about pigeons.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very close the the Brighton main station, and Sainsbury's. Also very close the the bus station. London Road however is not my favourite place.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very prompt responses. Easy to reach 3ven visa WhatsApp.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing worth mentioning in this box. Everything is as expected.

Beans and I are settling in nicely 🐱❤️
I’ve only recently moved into Mustard Wharf, but I’m genuinely loving it so far. The building is beautiful, the facilities are great and it’s been such a positive experience from day one.
A huge shoutout to Kourtney, who was amazing throughout the move-in process. Moving is stressful enough as it is, but she was always friendly, helpful and quick to answer any questions I had, which made everything run so much more smoothly.
The staff in general have all been lovely and welcoming, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the residents. I’ve already made use of the work from home spaces and they’ve been brilliant, especially as I’ll be starting my PhD soon. I haven’t attended any resident events yet, but I love that the building puts them on as it’s a great way to meet people and build a community.
One of my favourite things is the 24-hour concierge. As someone living alone, it adds an extra level of security and peace of mind, and the building feels very safe.
It’s still early days, but my first impressions have been excellent and I’m really happy I chose to live here.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is honestly one of the best things about living here. You’re right by the city centre, Leeds station and Granary Wharf, so everything is within walking distance. There are loads of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops nearby, and the transport links are great. I’ve only just moved in, but so far the area feels safe, clean and well looked after. I haven’t experienced any issues with noise or anti-social behaviour, and it’s nice being close to the canal and green spaces while still being in the middle of everything.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I’ve only recently moved in, so I haven’t had any major issues to raise yet. I did note a few minor items on my inventory that are still waiting to be resolved, but it’s very early days and I’m confident they’ll be dealt with. So far, whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance, the management team have been friendly, approachable and quick to respond. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been helpful and made the move-in process much smoother.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I’d recommend is taking some time to explore the area when you first move in. Being so close to the station, city centre, restaurants and cafés is even more convenient than it looks on a map. As someone about to start a PhD, I wanted somewhere that felt safe, practical and comfortable, and so far it’s ticked all those boxes. It already feels like somewhere I can properly settle into rather than just somewhere I’m renting.

A Flat That Truly Feels Like a Safe Home :)
My overall impression is that the flat is built to a high standard, using quality materials, and the furniture comes from good brands. Throughout my stay, I have not experienced any issues with the facilities or appliances provided in the apartment.
The layout and design of the flat give you the flexibility to create a home that you truly want!
One aspect that particularly stands out is the cleanliness of the communal areas. The reception, gym, study and games room, and corridors are consistently well maintained and always feel fresh and clean, which shows good property management.
Although the rent may seem slightly expensive at first, considering the quality of the accommodation, the facilities provided, and the overall living experience, I believe the cost is justified.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
its close to everywhere! Close to new street station, coach station, shopping centre and more!
Thats an amazing location!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They are good at this and I have no more comment to add
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If you’re considering a first-floor flat with a balcony or large windows above the parking area, keep in mind that it can become quite cold during the winter months. As a result, you may need to use the heating more often, which could lead to higher electricity bills.

Love Mustard Wharf
We moved in here as a stopgap between selling our house and our onward move, and it's been so good for us. We had a very uncertain moving date as we were waiting for our sale to complete and the level of flexibility and understanding shown was so appreciated. The management team deserve a huge shoutout in general (Kourtney, Elise, Jac, Amie, Laura especially - and the lovely friendly cleaning lady with blonde hair whose name I don't know.) There's someone available to help 24/7 and they really go above and beyond to be helpful and friendly - we feel very looked after. Really can't say enough good things about that aspect of living here - we'll miss it when we leave!
The common areas are kept really well maintained and clean. The coworking space is invaluable, we use it all the time as it's great not to have to work in your flat and get a change of scene. Also lovely to have the roof terraces and the gym on site. We've not used the refectory yet but it's a great option to have if you want to cater for more people.
The two coffee/pastry shops on site are fab, and a Sardinian restaurant's just opened on site which is exciting. Willow Pilates on the site is fantastic.
The flat is well designed and the appliances are really modern and high spec. Everything works well: a couple of very minor snags when we moved in were fixed on the same day by maintenance.
Only downsides for us are that the flat gets very hot and it's hard to cool during hot weather: it's single aspect with very large windows and south facing so it turns into a little greenhouse. Common spaces have aircon which is welcome, but there isn't any in the flat itself. And we've been on the waiting list for a parking space for several months - we're renting one in a nearby building in the meantime. Though to be fair, being so close to the city I appreciate it's not set up for everyone to need a car!
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Incredibly convenient for the train station and town - love being about 7 minutes from the train platform and 10-15 minutes to most places in the city centre. Nice pub options within a super short walk and the bars and restaurants at Granary Wharf are literally on the doorstep. It's also lovely being right on the canal towpath for walks. We use the Pilates studio in our building loads as well.
Downsides: not very close to grocery shops (though there are lots of delivery options), and on the south facing side the traffic noise is pretty bad, mostly due to a few idiots who love to rev their engines up and down Water Lane/Globe Road.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very few problems: minor maintenance issues that were dealt with within a few hours.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
If you're bothered by traffic noise, go for a flat that faces away from Water Lane/Globe road. Apparently courtyard facing or canal facing are much better on this score.
