Description

Owners Comments…

We moved into 41 Shipridge Drive in early 2021 as our first ever home. As a young couple, we initially fell in love with the perfect balance of being 15 minutes from Reading town centre but also the 2 minute walk to a beautiful nature reserve and 3 connecting fields. It’s so close to the town that you are able to get your favourite takeaways whilst enjoying it in a quiet, no traffic neighbourhood with wildlife at your doorstep.

The house itself is positioned towards the end of the estate and having no through road means little to no cars pass by - great if you’re a late riser! Having one of very few houses on the estate that is equipped with side-by-side parking has meant that we have not needed to organise the cars for those early starts. Being detached gives the house a blissful, calm feeling which we appreciate every day. Equally important, we have had the joy of a friendly and supportive neighbourhood since moving in.

The 3 bedrooms are spacious, the master bedroom has an en-suite and the 3rd bedroom-turned-office is a great space to work in. The garden & kitchen are south-facing and gain beautiful natural light. Not to mention, being towards the end of the estate, our garden is not overlooked by any properties so privacy is at a maximum.

We’ve been here for 5 years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the house and the location. We know the new owners will feel as strongly about this great property!
Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments…

Occupying a perfect position within the popular Croft Gardens development, this fantastic three-bedroom detached family home offers stylish, modern living in a wonderfully private setting.

Built in 2021 and presented in excellent condition throughout, the property is ready to move straight into. A particular standout feature is the side-by-side driveway parking, a rare bonus for this style of home that means no juggling cars or deciding who parks where. This layout also creates a wider-than-average plot, providing a garage, generous space down the side of the property and an additional tucked-away area within the garden.

The south-facing rear garden is another highlight, enjoying plenty of sunshine and a high degree of privacy with nothing overlooking from behind.

Inside, the accommodation is perfectly suited to family life. The lounge is positioned at the front of the property, while the spacious kitchen/diner spans the rear and opens directly onto the garden, making it ideal for entertaining. A downstairs WC completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, there are three good sized bedrooms, including a main bedroom with en-suite shower room, alongside a modern family bathroom.

With its detached design, wider plot, private south-facing garden and sought-after location, this is a home that offers something a little special.
