Well‑Managed and Pleasant Development
The development has been a very positive place to live. The overall design is modern, well‑planned and feels high quality. Shared facilities are clean, well maintained and easy to access. Building management is responsive and helpful, and any issues are usually resolved quickly. Property management communicates clearly and keeps the development running smoothly. Overall, it’s a comfortable, well‑managed and pleasant environment.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area is a pleasant and convenient place to live, with good local shops, cafés and green spaces nearby. Transport links are easy to use, and my street is generally quiet with reliable bin collections and no major issues. Overall, it’s a friendly and comfortable neighbourhood.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always responded quickly and professionally to any issues I have raised. They are helpful, polite and genuinely willing to assist. Even when my wife accidentally dropped her earring in the shower, they took the time to help us find it, which we really appreciated. Overall, their support has been excellent and reassuring.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I appreciated after moving in is how well‑maintained and peaceful the development actually is. You don’t fully realise this during a short viewing. The community feels friendly, the facilities are genuinely useful, and the building management is more supportive than expected, which makes day‑to‑day living very comfortable.

Terrible management and rude concierge
Terrible management, emails are ignored. The worst part is rude concierge staff that have been poorly trained, they have no communication skills and how to handle tenants, I can’t beleive this is how I get treated with the amount of money you pay to live here. Some concierge staff act so superior and shockingly rude. Terrible design of the apartment where the apartment is noisy from other apartments, the previous built to rent building I lived in, you couldn’t hear a thing once you closed the door as the design was so good. The apartment was freezing initially, this was only fixed after months of building work. Terrible public spaces - they’ve used every last inch to build apartments so the car park is so cramped with barely room to move and unlike in other built to rent developments who have gyms, gardens, so many other public spaces, Elliott’s yard just has 2 living rooms, this is it. All other space has been utilised for apartments. For the same price, the BTR developments in Birmingham are so much better quality. For example it’s shocking that you can live in corkfield, Edgbaston for the same price.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Parking has been a terrible experience. They charge £150 per month, the charges for electric car charging is crazily expensive and management hasn’t done anything abt it despite being asked and they are supposed to be environmentally friendly? The design of the car park has been terribly done, with barely any room for delivery lorries and bin lorries and so many emails to management goes ignored. Been stuck behind so many lorries despite paying so much money and management do nothing abt this. I have been stuck behind lorries for 15-20mins at a time and been late for work etc. even after building work finished, there’s delivery lorries, bin lorries you get stuck behind.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
No response, a lot of emails gets ignored. Emails abt rude concierge, fire safety rules for pets - are just outright ignored.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Very limited public spaces, no gym, no garden, cramped parking, rude and unhelpful concierge, no sound proofing in apartments
