Ledbury provides a variety of additional facilities, including three supermarkets a selection of good pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and a local Theatre.

Many fine walks are available within the locality and in the popular Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, both within easy driving distance. There are a variety of social clubs close by in Ledbury and Newent, as well as a well-known golf course at Dymock.
