"Situated in a prime position within the neighbourhood, this has been much more than a house to me. It’s a peaceful haven, a creative retreat and a place where friends, family and neighbours have always felt welcome. The lovely sunny garden, in particular, has been my sanctuary – a quiet and private space to unwind, catching the last of the sun, often with a glass of wine at the end of the day. The home

A beautiful period home on Greville Road in Southville where the owner has kept many of the original features in the house. Downstairs is an open plan living room/dining room with a large bay window, log burner, high ceilings and period doors onto the garden. The kitchen is at the rear of the house, again with a lovely sunny window and this leads to a 2ndreception room/dining area with glass doors to the garden. Upstairs are three bedrooms and the family bathroom.

The sunny rear garden is South East facing and has a lawn area, patio and plenty of shrubs and trees.

Living in Southville

Greville Road is a quiet residential street in the vibrant area of Southville. The house lies just off North Street, a hub for local independents, restaurants, and shops, including Michelin recommended COR and OTHER, coffee shops Sweven and Burra, and The Tobacco Factory - a café, bar, and theatre that hosts a bustling Sunday market.

A short stroll across Gaol Ferry Bridge (10 minutes) will take you to Wapping Wharf - a vibrant foodie destination set on the edge of Bristol’s historic harbourside. Serving from converted cargo containers, you’ll find top Bristol indies including Gambas, Cargo Cantina, Lapin, Ragu and Swoon Gelato, as well as Elevate Yoga Studio, Hue Hair and Beauty, and Anna Cake Couture. The city centre is a further 15 minutes on foot.
Several parks are within easy reach of Greville Road, with Greville Smyth Park a 15 minute walk away and the sprawling Ashton Court Estate a further 20 minutes beyond - an expansive 850 acres of wood and grassland that is home to the annual Bristol Balloon Fiesta.
