5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We love the local area. Living and working in Cardiff has been excellent. All facilities and services are a short walk away as the Copper Works apartment block is located in the city centre. Transport is a breeze as public transport is on the doorstep if needed. The bus and train stations are only a 10-minute walk away. Shopping is fantastic as the St Davids Centre nearby with all the top brands and a David Lewis store and an M&S, too. For daily shops and grocery topups there is a Coop and a Spar right on the doorstep. Entertainment is just as convenient: everything is just minutes away on foot: concert venues, cinemas, a fantastic modern library. Cardiff is small, but it really has it all. If walking is your thing: a circuit of Cardiff Bay is a pleasant stroll from the Copper Works. It has become a daily early-morning ritual for my wife. Parking is a breeze in the Copper Works car park, but on-street parking is difficult to find in the vacinity. My son and I have lived at the Copper Works for 9 months and have had no issues with anti-social behaviour or any other police matter. My husband had to work away, but spent as much time as possible in Cardiff as he loves the city and the building too.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Problems have been minimal. We had a loose electrical socket, but once we reported it, the maintenance team quickly resolved the issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish we had known about the Copper Works sooner, as we rented a more traditional apartment for our first year in Cardiff. The Copper Works has been a far better experience. We could have enjoyed it for an extra 12 months if only we had known.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Absolutely loved living here. Newbury is a great town and the development is seconds from the train station. Parking is good, as are waste collections. Friendly neighbourhood with very little trouble.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues have been acknowledged and rectified quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing that I can think of - viewing and all queries were addressed!

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living at The Mint in Guildford has been very positive overall. The area has a good range of local shops, restaurants, bars and open spaces, with Guildford town centre and nearby green spaces making it easy to get what I need and enjoy time outside. Transport links are generally okay, with good access to the station, though peak-time travel can be busy.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Encountering Rosa Caires and Carolynn Weedon at the front door has always been a great pleasure as they have been a great support throughout the tenancy.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Parking issues, didn't receive a parking spot immediately but had to wait a couple of months instead.

Amazing development which is less than a minute walk away from the tube station. You can pretty much reach all the important places in london in under
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have gone out of their way to get things repaired. They are on it from the moment a complain is raised and will make sure it's done perfectly well.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
They have flats facing all four directions so it would have been good to know if flats with better views were available.

2Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is very convenient and well connected. The development is close to shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and everyday amenities, which makes day-to-day living easy. Transport links are also good, and the central location is one of the strongest positives of living here. The main downside is that the immediate environment can be affected by noise and disruption, particularly around the communal areas. As someone on a lower floor, this has sometimes made the area feel less peaceful than expected. However, purely in terms of location, convenience and access to amenities, it is a strong place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
In my experience, responses have been polite but not effective. Issues are acknowledged, but there is often little visible action or meaningful follow-up, and at times it can feel as though concerns are being fobbed off rather than properly addressed. This has been particularly frustrating in relation to repeated noise, disruption in the communal areas, and privacy concerns, all of which have affected my ability to fully enjoy my home.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how much the lower-floor experience can depend on both the floor you are on and the neighbours around you. If you are affected by unruly or inconsiderate neighbours, management may not take meaningful action, which can leave residents to simply put up with the disruption. If you are sensitive to noise or want a peaceful home after work, I would strongly recommend choosing a higher floor. The location is excellent, but your floor and surrounding neighbours can make a major difference to your overall experience.
