A positive year at the Kimmeridge
The space is bright, aesthetically pleasing and modern looking (although some of the interior furnishings are not very functional, e.g. the drawers in the chest of drawers and bedside tables are too shallow and flimsy). The best part of the experience at the Kimmeridge is the management and reception staff. They make us feel looked after and welcomed, and have been of great help since moving in over a year ago. Adam, in particular, is very hard working and has been a constant help and kind presence throughout our time here. He has always been a reliable first port of call, staying long hours and ready to jump in to try and solve any issue, small or big.
Another big pro for us is that a whole wing of the building is pet friendly, which saved us at a time where finding properties accepting cats was becoming hard.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Overall, one of the strengths of the area and of the street/block in particular is that it feels extremely safe, albeit noisy because of the ring road close-by (but the building has really good noise insulation!). Transport to the centre is relatively limited and the works on Botley bridge have been a hurdle. However, there are other positive sides that outweigh these disadvantages, including the availability of shops at the retail park (10 minutes walk away) and a good café downstairs. Although the block is clearly up and coming (with more businesses opening up soon, such as a good yoga studio), one thing that could improve is variety in restaurants.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management and reception staff has been very responsive to various problems, particularly plumbing issues on different occasions.

New builds can be unpredictable in terms of structural, such as plumbing, issues.

Highly recommended professional landlords
Design: it is an 8 storey apartment building and has nice large community spaces in floors 1 and 7. The flats are 2 and 3 bhk. Our 2 bhk suits us well considering we are a family of four: two adults and two children. The flats have larger area as compared to others in the area when we were looking.
Facilities: i love the community spaces which offer lounge and lawn spaces. I wish there were children’s play area too, but that is a good to have. Overall, very satisfied.
Building Management: very efficient team of management. They are very helpful and help is with whatever queries we may have. They also notify us of events or other important aspects via the app.
Property Management: i would say the project is being managed very well with everything streamlined as a process and making it easy for tenants to fulfill their obligations.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The property is on Botley road. The only disadvantage is the bridge to Oxford being under construction. We rely on public transport, so that means we are severely delayed getting to city center. However it is set to open in the next couple of months, so hopefully that will be solved.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I requested help with repairs at home. They arranged for repairs within the week.

Maybe that the flat does not receive direct sunlight during any part of the day.

Review of the Kimmeridge
The staff that work here are amazing (Sam, Dan, and Alan - all amazing). Special shout-out to Adam for all of the work he does. He's a really great, down-to-Earth guy who works hard and looks out for the residents. Really respect and am grateful for his efforts.

Overall, living in my local area has been wonderful. It's close to downtown and the building/flat is super nice.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, they have. And I owe a lot to the building management team for this. Originally, I was living in apartment that did not allow me to have pets. Since I wanted to get a dog this year, I approached the building management team for support and to see if I could move apartments. It was a lot of work on their end, but they were super supportive, and in the end it worked out! It really demonstrated how much work and care they devote to the residents here, and I am very blessed to have them run my building. Really great people that work here - nothing but respect and gratitude on my end.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I guess it took me a while to figure out how the washing machine works. But, that was mostly my fault since I didn't read the welcome packet thoroughly enough. I also really underestimated the community I would find and build here. My neighbours are really lovely!

Great place to live
Property management team are very friendly and respond to your queries swiftly. It made the stay here great.
The facilities including reception and a gym were a great addition.

Great place to live
We really like the modern design and all of the facilities that comes with the building. It was a primary factor in us choosing this as a location to live. The resident services team are all very friendly, host some great events, and make the experience even better.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are a number of nice shops in the local area, including restaurants, cafés and coffee shops. As well as a good number of Supermarkets to choose from. There are more than enough bins, but they don’t always get collected weekly. Our internal facing apartment doesn’t get much noise.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We’ve only asked the building management team to respond to one small issue and they responded promptly and fixed it without any hassle

The utility bills are slightly more expensive than we are expecting in a brand-new build flat
