Description
Pocklington for those of you less familiar with the town is a thriving and sought after town in North Yorkshire with easy access to York and the commuter networks. It has excellent state schools, beautiful scenic walks and a lovely town centre. The market town is a throw back in time with many artisan cafes, bakeries, fantastic restaurants, gastro pubs, butchers and fashion boutiques to name but a few.
The property offers versatile living over an excellent footprint. What I particularly like is the ground floor is very spacious, I see too many top heavy properties but this is quite the opposite.
Enter through the front door to find a newly laid wood effect floor which runs through the hall dining/living and kitchen area. It looks very effective.
The chefs amongst you will enjoy the kitchen with easy to wipe down floors and surfaces and space for a range of appliances. There is an oven with extractor and electric hob and a number of handy cupboards. The kitchen opens onto the rear terrace so easy for a morning brekkie in summer or of course the BBQ!
The kitchen then flows into the dining living space which is light and airy and can be configured to suit your style of living.
Completing the spacious ground floor is a lovely formal living room with fully functioning fireplace and a brand new cosy carpet.
The first floor continues to impress with two light and airy double bedrooms which are serviced by a stylish house bathroom with large tub and shower overhead. The lovely new carpet runs up the stairs and throughout the bedrooms and landing and all the rooms are painted giving that fresh no-one else has lived here feel.
Overall a lovely home in a great location.
Do enjoy the photo reel and be sure to arrange your viewing swiftly as this home is likely to attract strong interest.
