Crofting Rules
The Purchaser(s) of lot 2 should note that the subjects form part of a croft and are sold subject to the provisions of the Crofters (Scotland) Act 1993. The Purchaser must fulfil the statutory duties to be ordinarily resident on or near the croft and to cultivate the croft or put it to another purposeful use, as governed by the Crofting Commission. Furthermore, the Purchaser acknowledges that the subjects are owner-occupied croft land. The Purchaser undertakes to notify the Crofting Commission of the change of ownership within one month of the Date of Entry and agrees to adhere to the statutory duties of an owner-occupier crofter as laid down in the Crofters (Scotland) Act 1993 until the crofts/property are sold.
