5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is very convenient, with a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants within easy reach. There are also several open green spaces nearby that make the area pleasant for walking and outdoor activities. Transport links are excellent, with regular bus services and easy access to central Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Parking was generally available and the street felt safe and well maintained. Bin collections were reliable, and I experienced very little anti-social behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They were quick and helpful. Any issue with the flat was resolved to the highest of standards.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I had all information shared with me by the team since the start

Got the big Tesco right there which is great for convenience. West Green Road is brilliant for food some real good African and Caribbean spots, not just the generic chains. Seven Sisters Station is literally on the doorstep (Overground and Victoria Line), which is so useful for the commute. Lime bikes everywhere if you need a quick trip. I can run straight to Clissold and Finsbury Park which is nice. It can be noisy with sirens, bit of crackhead activity but nothing worse than elsewhere and it doesn't really affect day-to-day living. Only real downside is there's no decent local pub nearby, that's a shame.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The team here is responsive. When you flag something, they actually sort it rather than making you chase them. Both Brunilda and the security staff are helpful
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
No decent pub within walking distance. That's worth knowing going in. But the restaurants on West Green Road make up for it

Good things about the local area: - Everything is really close, you can walk to the station in ~10 mins, to Cabot Circus shopping centre in ~10 mins, Wapping wharf, old town, you name it! - Every Weds & Fri there's an excellent (slighttly pricey) food market just outside the building in Finzel's Reach - I'm not a drinker but if that's your thing there are so many great spots to socialise, have a wind down (every Tues there's even a free run club organised by Left Handed Giant). - Some really nice gyms (one in the building as part of the tenancy) around the local area too, mostly affordable and a range of options that will suit whatever your preferred movement type is. There's a new pilates place opening next door to Hawkins & George - Liviing rightt next to the water, perfect for a good walk! Downsides if any?: - Sometimes you do get a bit of noise outside, but it's nothing major. Usual stuff (bins being collected, people chatting, socialising late at night) etc. Keeping your windows closed does help a lot so it's not unbearable IMO. - We've not had any issues at all. But I can imagine walking around Castle Park late at night miiiight be intimidating for some, but it feels pretty safe and most people are just doing their own thing. Like with many places, you should be alert and use your common sense. Everything is well lit and generally there's always people around (including security/police) since it is the city centre.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Sadly, we actually had a number of big issues when moving in, the foremost being the heating not working properly/at all, the extractor in the flat bathrooms being too weak, leaks in the cupboard - but again, the team handled this as quickly and urgently as they could. These things happen and it's been great to see how it's been dealt with. Anytime there's any issue big or small, it's always handled promptly and professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
You'll have a great time here, and (as long as you engage in things going on here) you can build a great community/home. Hawkins & George has honestly been an A* 10/10 experience for us :)

Such a beautiful place to live, we love the neighborhood. Spinningfields nearby, church, independent stores, walkable distance to Arndale. Cute cafes nearby. Best place for a walk. Riverside view nearby. Tesco and Sainsbury nearby. Also we live in 2-3 mins walk to Salford Central station, we can see the train platforms from the balcony. Best part no traffic noise or any sound disturbance. It's such aa beautiful view and peaceful place
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yesss we had a balcony door maintenance issue and they solved it within days. Really good and supportive reception team.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We didn't know we were in walkable distance to most of the Manchester popular places like all those shopping destinations. Like House of Frasers, Arndale, Deansgate etc

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We’ve lived here for three years and have been very happy with our experience. The development offers a great balance of convenience and peace and quiet. The train station is just a short walk away, making travel very easy, while the town centre, supermarkets, leisure centre, library and bus station are all within walking distance. One thing that has impressed us throughout our stay is how peaceful the community is. Despite being so close to the railway station and main transport links, we rarely notice any noise from trains or traffic inside the property.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The communal areas are always well maintained, and the overall management of the development is excellent. A special thank you to the site team, Carmen and Lynda who are consistently friendly, approachable and helpful. Their hard work and attention to detail play a huge part in creating such a pleasant and welcoming place to live

Being able to live here with our beloved pet has been a real bonus and has made the community feel even more like home.
