Description

We would suggest that anyone wanting to view this property might like to bring along an oxygen tank with them, as this family home will certainly take your breath away (cheesy, yes! but the only other way to describe it is Wow!).

This is no ordinary three bedroom home, in fact even the three bedrooms are different to other homes, as they are all double rooms, so that removes most of the arguments straight away and normally the mortgage payer (that's you) would take the back bedroom to avoid the street noise, but you can chose the front as the property is in a very quiet cul-de-sac, and if you do decide on the bedroom to the rear, when you open your curtains there is no one looking back at you, which also means a nice private garden too.

Anyway, back to the property not being ordinary, upon entering the hallway, there is an office space for all you home workers, or a playroom if needed to stop you standing on Lego around the rest of the house. This used to be the garage, but a large portion was missing, and we were intrigued as to where the rest might be.

The opposite side of the hallway leads into a very light living room, and if you do work at home, then the journey time from the office to your living room is just under 2 seconds. Also in the living room is a door that leads to the staircase, taking you to the aforementioned bedrooms and a modern four-piece bathroom suite.

If all of the above has whetted your appetite, then prepare to be full ... which is quite apt, really, as we are entering the kitchen/dining room. Although calling it a kitchen/dining room really doesn't give this room the justice it deserves. The extension goes beyond the original building, which gives a beautiful, vaulted roof and two large Velux windows allow the room to be extra light, the flagstone flooring is another feature here and this one has under floor heating to make your toes toasty ... and then, there is the kitchen itself, breakfast bar, integrated appliances, raised double ovens, which should give you an idea to its size. You need an 8-seater table to dine on, no problem; it fits. The only warning we can give you as a buyer is that your friends and relatives will never leave once they set foot inside. Having looked around, we still couldn't find the other section of the garage, which was quite perplexing, until we opened the corner larder-style cupboard, and there was a walkway. Stepping through the doorway didn't lead us to Narnia, but instead, we were greeted by a utility area, a separate downstairs cloakroom, and storage space. Perhaps this is where you go when your family and friends don't leave!

To the front of the property, you can park three vehicles, and there is an electric charger point. To the rear, the garden has a wonderful seating area (if you ever leave your kitchen), which has a composite deck for super low maintenance and the added advantage of a double electrical socket.
