Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area offers a diverse selection of shops, providing plenty of options and convenient access to everyday needs. Additionally, the building's proximity to the MAC and Cannon Hill Park provides access to pleasant spaces for relaxation and outdoor activities. Transport links are excellent, with multiple bus routes offering easy access to the city center and surrounding neighbourhoods.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They handle all issues quickly and professionally, working to resolve problems as soon as possible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is nothing specific I wish I had known before moving in, everything has been great.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is brilliant. Being right next to Cannon Hill Park gives you so much peace and quiet, and because the building isn't boxed in by other high-rises, you get beautiful, open views that you just can't find anywhere else in the B5 area. Well-connected to city centre with less than 10 min by bus. Aldi is right over the street 🙂 PureGym is in Corkfield building but you need to pay separate membership (it's not free for residents) EV parking is available and you pay a fixed amount for parking and you can use it unlimited.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It is pretty quick and always they are looking for some improvement. Of course sometimes problem or issues happen, but they are keen to resolve it and communicate with residents well. They provide monthly newsletter and updates regarding any issues or scheduled events in our community.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A price is a bit higher than their similar building in Birmingham. Gym is not included. Wife is included. You can rent private room for free. Parcel room.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is very convenient, with Aldi, Morrisons, Asda Express, and Costa all within walking distance. Cannon Hill Park is also nearby and is a great place for walks, exercise, and family time. It's close to Birmingham city centre, but without the noise and crowds that come with living right in the centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues raised are dealt with quickly and professionally, and they always try to resolve problems as soon as possible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing major comes to mind. Overall, it has been a very smooth and positive experience living here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area has been a largely positive experience, with a good selection of shops, cafés and everyday amenities within easy reach. The nearby open spaces are well‑kept and provide a pleasant place for walks or fresh air. Transport links are generally convenient, with regular services and straightforward access to main routes, although peak‑time delays do occur on occasion. My street itself is usually calm and orderly, with reliable bin collections and manageable parking. Anti‑social behaviour is rare, and while there is some light traffic noise at busy hours, it never becomes intrusive. Overall, it is a comfortable and well‑maintained place to live.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One aspect I wish I had known before moving into Corkfield is the subtle yet charming vibrancy that flows through the development’s shared spaces. The communal areas are not merely functional; they are gracefully animated throughout the day by residents who make thoughtful use of them, creating an atmosphere of quiet conviviality. Had I known this beforehand, I would have better anticipated the warm, community‑minded character that defines daily life here — a quality that lends the development an unexpectedly refined sense of belonging and understated elegance.

What is the best feature of your home:

The most distinguished feature of my home is the meticulously curated living space, harmoniously complemented by a graciously proportioned balcony that commands an expansive, tranquil vista. The interplay between the refined interior detailing and the serenely elevated outlook creates an ambiance of effortless opulence and cultivated tranquillity, imbuing the residence with a sense of quiet grandeur that is both rare and deeply gratifying.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location with very easy transport links. Easily walkable to the Bullring, mailbox, etc. Beautiful park right across the road and a supermarket nearby too.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes. When I moved in the door lock needed to be repaired. It was done in less than 20 minutes.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Don’t try and get an uber when the crowds are leaving the stadium. Traffic is chaos, but it only lasts for about an hour.

    Manager's response

Hi John, Thank you for leaving a review for Corkfield and sharing your experience of Corkfield, the team and the surrounding area! Good advice about the Uber on a match day - hope it didn't cause you too much of a problem that day! Best wishes,
