Applicants will be required to attend a viewing and face to face interview with the Neighbourhood Officer as part of the application process. Applicants must evidence that they have the understanding of responsibilities, skills, knowledge, financial management and furnishings needed to set up and sustain their accommodation. Police checks will be carried out with the applicants permission.

If you are a current private tenant, council tenant or a housing association tenant you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months' notice. If you are a current tenant of Platform Housing Group, you will be required to give 4 weeks or 1 months' notice.
