Applicants will be required to attend a viewing and face to face interview with the Neighbourhood Officer as part of the application process. Applicants must evidence that they have the understanding of responsibilities, skills, knowledge, financial management and furnishings needed to set up and sustain their accommodation. If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for a lifetime assured tenancy.

Please be aware / Universal Credit will only pay for the property you are living in, and you will need to give notice on your current tenancy. If you are a current private tenant, council tenant or a housing association tenant you will be required to give notice on your current home. This is usually 4 weeks or 1 months' notice. If you are a current tenant of Platform Housing Group, you will be required to give 4 weeks or 1 months' notice.
