5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is very convenient and well connected. There are many local shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and Birmingham city centre is only a short distance away. Public transport is easily accessible with bus routes nearby and the train stations are also close. The area generally feels safe and lively. Parking can sometimes be limited depending on the time of day, but overall it is a comfortable place to live with good access to amenities and services.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has always been responsive and helpful whenever issues were raised. Maintenance requests are handled efficiently and the staff are always cooperative and willing to assist residents.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly there was nothing unexpected. The experience has been very positive and the building and management have met my expectations.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living on Suffolk Street Queensway is incredibly convenient. Being right in the heart of Birmingham, we have the Mailbox and Grand Central just a short walk away for shopping and dining. Transport links are excellent with New Street Station so close, though the city center noise is expected. It’s a vibrant, busy area that’s perfect for professionals.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management team is very responsive. Whenever I've raised a minor issue, they’ve handled it quickly. Abdul at the reception is especially proactive; he ensures that any maintenance requests or parcel queries are followed up on immediately, which is much appreciated.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d known how much of a difference a good reception team makes! Having Abdul there to greet you and help with logistics like deliveries makes the move much smoother. Also, it’s worth noting that while the area is central and busy, the building itself feels very secure and private.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Really good selection of shops on your doorstep as well as access to entertainment and leisure such as cinemas and bars.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They were always quick to respond, at least within 24 hours.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the rooms had no bins built into any of the units.
Manager's response4Trukk, thank you for your kind review of Aston Place. We’re so pleased you enjoyed the well-maintained surroundings, friendly staff, and prompt support - it’s always lovely to hear when our team has made a positive difference. We appreciate your comments about the kitchen layout and understand how that might have been an inconvenience. Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Local shop like budgens is nearby, the library is close and so are the tram lines. Good central location for travel. Though there is noise from the main road once you close the windows you can’t hear much.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Right from setting up a viewing to the documentation, payment and moving in process was professionally handled. It was quite smooth. The concierge desk always has helpful staff that are also quite fun to have a quick chat with now and then. One of them was Abdul who showed us how the parcel room or other facilities worked when we had queries and made us feel welcome when we moved in to the building on our first day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The good thing is that everything is transparent. It’s made clear what is included in the furnished apartment and what is not, so you can plan to purchase those . But this does mean you’ll be spending a bit more in the first month to set up things like a bin, dish rack, kettle, clothes racks and the like.
Manager's response4Thank you Sowmya for your lovely and thoughtful review. We’re so pleased to hear you’re enjoying your apartment and that the move-in process felt smooth and professional. It’s also great to know the concierge team, especially Abdul, helped you feel welcome - he'll be delighted. We’re glad you found the apartment details clearly communicated before moving in, and while we don’t provide items like bins or kettles as standard, we appreciate your suggestion. The idea of a communal vacuum is an interesting one and something we’ll keep in mind. Thanks again for your feedback!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Aston Place is located in the city center, which is very convenient. 5 minutes to the new street railway station and 10 minutes to the Bull Ring shopping center on foot.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management team is very nice, and among them, Priyanka truly stood out. From the very beginning, she left a strong impression on me with her professionalism, patience, and genuine willingness to help. Every time I encountered an issue, Priyanka responded quickly and efficiently, often going above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved smoothly. Her attention to detail and proactive attitude made me feel genuinely cared for as a resident. What surprised me most was learning that Priyanka is not a manager. Based on her performance, leadership qualities, and the way she handles responsibilities, I had assumed she was in a manager role. She absolutely has the capability and temperament to be a manager, and I believe she would excel in that position. Hope she can get a promotion soon.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Energy supplier. It has been set to the OVO energy default. It is better to know before moving in, as that could save time just in case we need to change.
Manager's response5Thank you for your kind and detailed review. We're so pleased to hear that you've had a positive experience with the design, facilities, and especially our team. Your feedback about the common room space and gym equipment is really helpful - we’ll certainly keep it in mind for future improvements. A special thank you for your lovely words about Priyanka, it's great to hear how much of a difference she’s made during your stay. We’ll be sure to pass on your comments to her and the wider team. Thanks again for your recommendation!
