5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Whiteley offers a good range of local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafés, with the shopping centre providing most everyday essentials. There are several pubs, bars and family-friendly dining options nearby, as well as plenty of green spaces, parks and walking routes. Transport links are generally convenient, with easy access to the M27 and nearby train stations, although traffic can become congested during peak commuting hours. The street is quiet and well maintained, with regular bin collections, adequate parking for residents and visitors, and very little anti-social behaviour. There is some building work in the wider area, so occasional construction noise can be heard, but this is to be expected in a growing community and work generally starts and finishes at reasonable times. Traffic noise is otherwise minimal apart from occasional busy periods on main roads.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team has generally been responsive whenever issues have been raised. Communication has been clear and professional, with updates provided when required and maintenance requests handled within a reasonable timeframe. Minor issues in communal areas have been addressed promptly, and the overall upkeep of the development reflects a proactive approach to management. While no management company is perfect, my experience has been positive overall, and concerns have been taken seriously and resolved efficiently. The team appears committed to maintaining a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is the amount of dust that can be generated by the ongoing building work in the surrounding area. As the community continues to grow, construction activity can sometimes result in cars, windows and outdoor spaces needing to be cleaned more frequently than expected. However, this is a temporary downside of living in a developing area, and the work is generally carried out during reasonable daytime hours. The benefits of the location, local amenities and overall quality of the property have far outweighed this minor inconvenience.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good: Surrounded by lush green woods, easily accessible to shops and motorways. Bad: people driving fast/ not adhering to the speed limits, littering and building materials being dropped and or left. It’s a daily occurrence for me to pick up nails, screws and or metal clips
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They were responsive and provided support. Although, I must note, we haven’t had to make contact with them often.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The reality of living somewhere that isn’t full finished - dust, dirt, noise, vehicle movement and building materials being dropped

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great range of facilities very close, love the play parks for the kids and love hearing the birds in the morning! We leave on the main road through the estate a few noisy drains when cars drive over them but apart from that it’s been great!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had no WiFi when we moved in, it turned out we had the wrong hub but once this eventually was established, we were up and running the next day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Stairs are lovely and wide and made moving furniture in a breeze! Wish we had noticed the Lampost outside when we picked out plot! Very bright and on all night but nothing a blackout blind on the landing hasn’t sorted.
