The location is dreamy as well, with easy access to many of Bristol's joys. We can easily pop down the hill through the allotments to visit the city farm and local pub, stretch our legs a little more for a walk around Purdown, or head more into the city for one of the many fun and interesting things going on."

The home

Ashley Down Road runs from St. Pauls to Horfield and is well-positioned with easy access to Gloucester Road, Montpellier, as well as the city centre. Gloucester Road is one of the best roads for independent shops, cafes & restaurants in the UK, including a diversity of options such as The Gallimaufry, Joe’s Bakery and the highly regarded Fed 303. A short walk away is Montpellier which houses very popular places such as The Bristolian Cafe, considered one of the best brunch spots in Bristol, as well as Oowee Vegan and The Cadbury House. For ethically sourced foods, coffee and more, Better Food, an organic grocery store, is less than a mile away in St Werburghs Farm or Gloucester Road and is incredibly popular amongst the local community. For those in want of green spaces, Purdown is but a 5-minute walk away, as well as the beautiful St Andrews Park. Buses run every five minutes from Gloucester Road and are also very regular on Ashley Down Road to the City Centre, alongside cycle paths for both cyclists and electric scooter users.
