"One of the first things we fell in love with was the huge living room windows, which fill the apartment with natural light throughout the day. It's also incredibly peaceful here. Despite being in a small apartment block, it's amazingly quiet and we've always found our neighbours to be warm and friendly.
We especially love being surrounded by greenery. From the living room, kitchen and bedroom, you're greeted with views of mature trees, giving the apartment a wonderfully calm and relaxing feel. The property is also incredibly well insulated, staying cosy during the winter and pleasantly cool throughout the summer. The underfloor heating in both the kitchen and bathroom is a real luxury on colder mornings.
The location has been perfect for us. Everything you could need is within easy reach, with local shops and the high street just a short walk away. East Croydon station nearby making commuting into London quick and convenient, with plenty of bus connections available too. There are also excellent gyms, fitness facilities and yoga studios nearby.
Perhaps our favourite surprise is how quickly you can escape into nature. Step outside and within minutes you're walking through beautiful open fields, enjoying countryside views and even spotting cows grazing nearby. It's the perfect combination of city convenience and peaceful green surroundings.
