The marina is the heart of it: a working harbour ringed with restaurants, bars and cafés, busy but never frantic, with the kind of regulars who know the waiters by name. Behind it, La Duquesa golf course climbs into the hills; in front, a long run of beach stretches in both directions. It’s an easy place to belong, international without feeling rootless, and within comfortable reach of Gibraltar and Málaga airports for the journeys that matter.
