5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Close proximity to all shops, city centre, trams, leith walk. The only thing I would say it’s not the best is the parking situation but luckily I can park my car in a work car park
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Quick response after reporting maintenance issue on the resident app
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only thing I can think of would be about how windy it can get here- it can get pretty loud

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Local area, especially The Shore is fantastic. Development could benefit from a clear drop off area (i.e for taxis).
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Always prompt responses. Everyone we have spoken to has been helpful.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The internet has been disappointing and we continue to have issues with some devices. Would have preferred bringing our own.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the local area is generally convenient, with a good range of shops, supermarkets, and some cafés and restaurants within easy reach. There are also a few parks and open spaces nearby which are well maintained and suitable for walking and exercise. Transport links are fairly good, with regular bus routes and access to nearby train stations, although services can sometimes be delayed during peak times. On my street, parking can be limited at busy periods, but bin collections are usually reliable. Occasionally there is some traffic noise, but overall the area feels safe and reasonably quiet, with only minor instances of anti-social behaviour.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has generally responded well to any issues raised. Requests are acknowledged promptly, and most problems are handled in a reasonable timeframe. Communication is clear and staff are approachable, which makes it easy to follow up when needed. Overall, I am satisfied with their responsiveness and support.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how quiet and well-managed the development feels day to day. The building is very secure and the communal areas are kept clean and tidy, which isn’t always obvious from a viewing. I would also say the staff are approachable and quick to help with any issues, which makes settling in much easier. Overall, it has been a smooth and positive experience, and I would happily recommend it to new residents.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area's a big part of why I like living here. For food and drink you're sorted, Leith and The Shore are just down the road and there's a brilliant mix down there, everything from a quick coffee or a pint to somewhere a bit special for a treat. Loads of little independent places too once you start exploring. For the normal stuff there are supermarkets close by and Ocean Terminal isn't far, so you're not stuck for the basics, though if you want a proper big shop you'll travel a bit for it. Honestly though, the best bit is just being on the water. Having the promenade and the views right there for a walk or a run never gets old. Getting around is easy these days. The tram's a game changer for getting into town or to the airport, and the buses are spot on too. Only downside really is you're a little out from the centre, so it's not quite a five minute stroll into the old town, and there's still a bit of building work going on around the wider waterfront. The street itself is dead quiet and well looked after. Bins always get collected, everywhere is kept tidy, and I've never had any bother with anti social stuff, it feels safe whatever time it is. Parking's the only slight headache, it can get busy, so it pays to be a bit considerate. Noise wise you barely hear traffic, it's more the wind off the water than anything else.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Can't fault them really. Anything I've mentioned has been dealt with quick and without any hassle, and they keep you updated so you know it's actually being looked at. Makes a massive difference.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Honestly the main thing I'd say is don't panic about the heating when you first move in. It's all electric and works a bit differently to what you're probably used to, so it threw me for the first week or so, but once you get the hang of leaving it ticking over rather than blasting it on and off, it's actually really efficient and the flat stays lovely and warm. Wish someone had just told me that on day one. Other than that, my tip for anyone new would be to get out and have a proper wander round the area early on. There's loads nearby that you'd never clock from a viewing, and the waterfront walks are genuinely one of the best bits of living here.
