"BS5 has been amazing to see it grow over the years. I set up a run club called BS5 runners and have made such amazing friends and a community from it. We enjoy playing tennis (practically in our garden it’s so close) we love wheeling the bbq out of our garden and to the park for larger friend occasions. The Chester Road street party is another highlight!"

Living in St George

Chester Road is in a quiet residential road leading onto St George’s Park. This area in East Bristol has become increasingly popular due to its interconnectivity, great schools, green spaces & a growing number of independent businesses. Church Road is a five-minute walk from the house through the park and is home to a number of popular shops & cafes such as The Bristol Loaf/Native Vine, Southville Deli, The Small City Bookshop & Prior, restaurants such as The Lock Up & The Red Church and many well-loved pubs including the Dark Horse & the Old Stillage. St Marks Road in Easton is only a short walk away and also has a range of well-regarded shops & cafes such as No.12, Bristol Sweet Mart and the Garden of Easton with Matter Wholefoods & La Cubana a bit further on. The proximity of the large, Victorian St George's Park is a huge benefit to local residents and offers a great retreat from city life on a summer's day, with its lake, café, library, bowling, tennis, play area and skate park.
