The design is quite elegant
The design is quite elegant, many of our friends have commented on it saying it looks expensive. The facilities are a huge convenience. The coffee downstairs and the gym are one of the huge reasons we keep extending our lease. Management had been quite good with all the mingling events and free food and pop ups this year too!
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s quit convenient, it’s close to public transport, close to the shops and relatively safe. Have had a few bad incidents with males being over friendly, the restaurant outside has a very loud high pitched whistling sound every night which gives me a migraine but otherwise quite good.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We had a building wide electricity cut and they got the issue fixed quite quickly. The compensation was a little short for the inconvenience caused but they managed to cover a good portion.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We wish we knew all these facilities existed we would’ve gotten a three year contract from the get go instead of a two year one!

A great place to live
The building design is fantastic the apartments are very spacious and are finished well. They let in so much light especially a corner apartment. The entrance lobby is beautiful there is a 24hr concierge team who are helpful and take care of all your parcels.
Beth in the West tower is incredibly friendly and very helpful. She will try to sort out any issues you may have or questions you need answering. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her. Helena is lovely too.
The facilities are amazing there is a well equipped gym over two floors. Yoga room, spa facilities including swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Lots of space for working and dining rooms to hire out.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Recently moved into Deansgate Towers and I find it a lovely place to live. The development is well cared for and the buildings are clean and tidy.
It’s super close for transport links and the city centre. There are restaurants and shops on site. The florist is amazing and super helpful.
The building is quiet and has a great vibe I’ve not noticed any anti social behaviour or excessive noise.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I raised my issue using the section on the portal for maintenance requests. This was super easy and quick.
The response was quick too and they resolved one issue just waiting for a follow up.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing really I’m happy with everything. It’s just what I expected .

The friendliness of the team makes a difference!
In nearly three years living here, my experience has been mostly positive, and on the occasions where an issue has arisen with a member of the FOH team, it’s always been resolved quickly. The team at West/North Tower have been responsive throughout, quick to reply to emails and genuinely happy to speak in person whenever needed. Tom and Ed were particularly supportive during my recent move from a shared tenancy into my sole tenancy , which came with its own challenges, and they handled it with real care which I appreciated throughout.
On the FOH side, Ann Marie deserves a special mention. She’s warm, friendly, and always makes you feel like your question actually matters, I never feel rushed or as though I’ve been turned away because she’s too busy. She is a ray of sunshine that I always look forward to seeing!
Oliver has also been helping me recently with a lot of the amendments needed in my apartment and he’s been amazing the entire time, very friendly and understanding.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s the perfect location because it’s walking distance from town, just one straight road down Deansgate. There’s lots of amazing cafes, food, shops in general very close to our building. We also have amazing food such as Kitten in our building which is appreciated!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I had quite a lot of things that needed fixing in my new apartment and the management team have been very responsive, I’m very happy with that.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It does get really really hot in here during the summer! Sometimes unbearable. But that’s not the managements fault.

Elliott's Yard, CV1
This development review is rated 5.0 out of 5.0.
Peaceful City Centre Living
Design
The design of Elliot's Yard is exceptionally modern and well-thought-out. The apartments feature great open-plan layouts with large windows that let in plenty of natural light, giving the living space a very contemporary and airy feel. The exterior and communal spaces also have a high-quality finish that makes the whole development feel premium.
Facilities
The on-site facilities are a major highlight and add a lot of value to living here. Having access to dedicated resident spaces really elevates the everyday experience. It makes the development feel like a proper community with great amenities right on your doorstep, rather than just a place to sleep.
Building & Property Management
The building management team is fantastic. Having a friendly, approachable on-site concierge is incredibly convenient, especially for securely handling parcel deliveries while I'm out. The overall property management is equally impressive; the communal areas and corridors are consistently kept spotless, and any minor maintenance requests within the apartment are addressed promptly and professionally by the management team.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Local Amenities & Open Spaces
Being centrally located in CV1 provides a fantastic variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes right on your doorstep. The quality of the local spots in the Coventry city centre is excellent, and there are also some pleasant, well-maintained green spaces nearby for a quiet walk.
Transport Links
Getting around is incredibly convenient. There is quick access to local bus stops, and being right near the ring road makes commuting or leaving the city very straightforward. I haven't run into any significant issues with transport delays or availability.
Street Experience & Environment
The street itself is surprisingly peaceful for being so central. Traffic noise is minimal, and the area feels safe with no noticeable anti-social behaviour. Having access to secure, gated parking completely removes the stress of finding a street spot. Bin collections are also reliable and well-organized, making day-to-day living very comfortable.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management's response to issues has been absolutely flawless. They use a dedicated service request system that is incredibly efficient and easy to use. I have raised multiple maintenance issues during my time here, and every single one has been addressed and resolved immediately without fail. They have never missed a single request, which makes living here completely stress-free.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known early on just how much value the on-site team adds to day-to-day living, especially when it comes to things like parcel deliveries. It completely eliminates the headache of waiting at home for couriers or missing packages. My tip for a new neighbour is to make full use of the concierge and resident facilities—it makes living here incredibly stress-free.

Good experience
The facilities are genuinely impressive. Having a gym just downstairs and a cinema room on-site makes such a difference. The rooftop is also a wonderful spot to unwind on a sunny day.
That said, what really sets the building apart is the team at reception. The building managers are all incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful - they make the whole experience of living here that much better.
Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
A Co-op, Tesco, and a large Sainsbury's are all within a few minutes' walk - really convenient for day-to-day errands. The street itself is lovely and quiet; I never had any issues with traffic noise throughout my time here. For reference, my flat faced the storage room side of the building.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
In my case, the building has responded quite promptly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing worth knowing — the facilities do vary slightly depending on whether you're in the South or North Block, and having lived in both, I'd say it's worth considering. The North Block has easier access to the laundry room, while the South Block is closer to the co-working space.
